((At the end of December, the Christmas Ship makes its visit to the crew, bringing a gift for each person and a book on manners to be shared with the crew.

January 2nd, they arrive at Monsuta which is dinosaur island! 

January 12th, the next stage of the plot will happen, and the possessed will be affecting what happens to others on the ship.

January 17th - nothing can be dated past this for the moment.

Evening, January 11th

[It might be noteworthy that Hachiken has been acting a little weird. He's been talking in strange nonsense, humming a tune. He hasn't been hostile exactly, and he's been doing his work. After all, it's much easier to lure people in if you're nice to them.

Tonight for dinner is a robust stew. Large chunks of meat, potato and carrots in a delicious gravy with many herbs and spices. As always it's served up in front of the crew, plates for everyone, the remaining pot on the centre of the table.

In the herb combination is a poisonous one. Consuming your meal will kill you. If you eat a lot, you might just fall asleep. Eat a little and you might be sick first.

Hachiken doesn't seem that hungry, in fact, he's just calmly sitting there eating bread. He doesn't touch his stew, he just waits.

[Codi is...a little suspicious of her crewmate since his outburst over the journals, but apart from that and the annoying humming, he's been doing everything normally. Maybe it really was just stress? Maybe he's feeling better, after the Witch did her thing on Empieza?]

[At least the stew smells nice. Codi comes to dinner fashionably late, strutting in with her journal under her arm, and plops down at the table.]

Fantastic! Did you use one of the raptors for this?

[Much like Hachiken, Codi eats her bread first. She's not fond of plain broth, so she uses chunks of the loaf to soak it up instead.]
