Who: Certain members of the Howling Sabers
Where: The ship of the Corpse King
When: 7/29, after the fog rolls in (backdated)
What: The Sabers successfully board the Corpse King's ship and attack him, but fail epically in their escape roll.
Warnings: Character death. Also Sasuke.
Status: Closed
Information gathering in regards to the Corpse King had been woefully unobtainable, but the matter wouldn't be left alone. When a heavy fog rolled in, easily covering the distance between their two ships, their captain decided this was the best time to make their move and board the other vessel directly. With two ninjas there to help cover their approach with illusions, the addition of the fog meant that they were easily able to make it on board.
With a group like theirs, it was easy to become overconfident.
