Lyrik turns along one of the corridors, brightening as he spies Harlock. He's eager to show the captain his findings, however once he gets closer he notices that the man's carrying his weapon.
"Wha-?! Captain, what's going on??"
no subject
"Sorry, it's loose again." Harlock assumes their problem with the goat known to Lyrik someone has to have mentioned it. "And I've had enough."
no subject
"Gah! H-hey, watch where you aim that, sir..!" he sputters. "Wait, loose? Aah, again? Wh-what are you going to do with it?" It surely can't be anything good if he's holding a gun!

He is sorry for threatening the boy, he wasn't the type of kid he was hunting.
"The goat it tried to eat our map, and I think it's invisible."
no subject
"Invisible? How did that happen?"
no subject
He inches a little further down the corridor. They're not to far from the Galley at this point. There's the crash of pots and pans. Harlock swears
"Now it's after what's left of lunch."
no subject
"What? Oh no..!" he groans, watching as Harlock slips further along the corridor before trailing after him.

But today she had left her room, knowing she should do something when she came across the other. Looking confused she looked over slightly. "Captain... what are you doing?"
no subject
"Oh good how does making stew sound tonight?"
no subject
"It should be fine, but um... You didn't explain what you were doing."

Hester checks the rings for poison by putting them on some of the ship's livestock. When they don't keel over, she nods and tries some on for herself. If you've done the same, the map will appear, as will the other ring. She may put that one on. There will be no visible change to her personality.
[20th]
Hester, who has never been this well fed in her life, is in a constant state of bliss. She even licks her lips (an awkward thing when your mouth is as scarred as hers, but so necessary). And look, there's a cow! A whole one! Well, almost whole. The tendons look like they might be a bit skimpy, but she can deal.
She pulls out a comically large knife and points. "Steak ho!"
20th
"Uwah! What're you doing?!"

"Listen, kid. Things that are small and helpless and don't know when to hide in this world get fucking eaten. Sooner you learn that, less likely it is to happen to you."
This isn't so much a statement of personal philosophy as a conviction that This Is How The World Works, and while she doesn't like it, she doesn't think she can do much about it.

"What?"
He approaches the rail and looks to where she's pointing. Yes there's a cow on a garland and holly covered raft.
"I didn't think they came that small." Not that they normally came two stories tall like Big Beef Angus. His mind flashing to how is friend would always say he liked this steak so think you couldn't tell the front from the side.

She makes for the dingy, to begin rowing it in, swallows back drool.

He watches her scale down the side. Sea was relatively calm so he wasn't to worried about her ending up in the drink.
"We might need a pulley to actually get that cow on board."
