Zoro can pick them out of the crowd easily, and cuts right back through the melee, keen on matching sword for sword.
He keeps Sanji in range at all times, avoiding collateral damage from those whirling feet while always moving into either bat more foes into his path or circle behind him and guard his back. It isn't even conscious on his part, Zoro simply feels comfortable fighting with the hot aura of the cook's haki at the edge of his senses.
And these swordsmen sure are keeping him busy. Distracted, almost. He hasn't forgotten the captain but he's got his hands full.]
