He gets them to the rear deck and waits for a wave to wash them up high enough to grab onto the railing, so he can just haul them both over it at once. Only with his reduced strength, that doesn't quite go so well. He gets Sanji over, and then the pitching of the ship in the waves takes him out of reach, smacking his face against the rail and then leaving him dangling at the other end of the damn chain for a moment before another wave pushes him back up so he can at least get his arms around the railing. Needless to say, it's a comedy of pathetic errors before they can actually consider themselves safe on the deck. Just through that door, then they can go up to give a hand...
...only when the door opens, there's a collection of enemy pirates on the other side, just waiting to take them prisoner. Oops. This is not Merrily at all.]
