Ikki looks around for the box the other asks for before passing it to him without a word, he isn't a genius or very intelligent as far as he's concerned, but it doesn't take one to be able to understand that the other is working. And when you're working you can't waste your time on other people, at least not by giving them your full attention.

"Gods are scared to cross you? Is godslaying among your abilities or something?" There's no amusement on his tone, or incredulity, it's a very serious and purposed question. As the other says, the name of Gallifrey means little to Ikki, and it probably doesn't matter since it's gone now by what the Doctor says.

"Phoenix Ikki;" his name though he doesn't note it and could very well be just a couple of random words thrown to the wind. "I heard about you, and heard you when you built that mix between a motor and a toaster. Must be hard to be stuck with this limited technology here given your story."
