Elissa was becoming more familiar with Haytham's mannerisms and his carriage, but in her current state she wasn't entirely sure if his glance to the ground was apologetic in nature or a way to avoid looking at the woman who had tried to murder him. If he did not want to look at her, that was a bad sign, and troubled her more than she had expected.
Gently, Elissa spoke to him as she cautiously approached from the cell's back corner, moving to stand directly in front of the man where she tilted her head to try to meet his gaze beneath the point of his tricorne hat. "Haytham, I... What I did and planned to do was terrible," she admitted in a quiet tone, "But I hope that you can eventually forgive me for what happened." She would need to say similar words to the rest of the crew, but none would be as earnestly stated. For some reason, it was more important that Haytham forgive her than anyone else. Perhaps because she had directly attacked him?
Perhaps.
For now, she ignored his query about her ability to leave. Elissa was no longer damaged from Connor's attack, though her armor was still ravaged from the incident. Weakness from the room and lack of sustenance were now her only injuries.
