Actually, I understand that. Before I proved myself to the Spirits, the people of my city would attack them as enemies when they went outside the city to hunt. But I've spent four years away from the city, living with the spirits and traveling the world. I don't view the spirits as just spirits anymore. Dragons more so because one of them was kind enough to train me to use the power of fire that the Lion Turtle had granted me. Without that training, I'd be throwing it around like a child throws their toys.
