INTRO LOG: MAY 2014

WELCOME NEW CHARACTERS!
Have an intro log for the month of May!

Who: Any and all new characters, as well as anyone hanging out on or around Isla Empieza!
Where: Near the fountain in the town center.
When: New characters will arrive around May 10th! The log is good for as long as you need it.
What: You've just been dropped on your head in a weird new world. Time to figure out what the heck is going on!
Status: VERY OPEN.

It's a brilliant May day, with blue skies and a soft breeze as you wake up. Everything about the otherwise grubby pirate port you are in speaks of spring. There are flowers surrounding the fountain, draping in colorful garlands over railings and balconies and tucked into all corners. There is a certain cheerfulness to it all and those in Empieza seem friendly and welcoming (to those who've been there before, they are far more pleasant than usual).

Feel free to throw your characters here if you need a place for them to get situated and start figuring things out! Start new threads, tag into others, meet the people who might just become part of your crew! Older characters will be in and out, too, depending who is on the island at the current time.

Indeed, not a single person there seemed to care. In fact, quite a few of them seemed actively annoyed. And at the mention of 'pirates', well... the group thinned out even more. Anji, however, didn't seem at all phased. With another flourished series of movements, he hopped up and literally seemed to float over to Haruta's perch, casting a wide grin her way.

"Well if being pirate royalty doesn't work out for you, you certainly have a look for the stage. Tell me, my new friend, are you truly part of a fleet so great that they have twelve divisions? I am seeking a group to sell my services to, of course."

This guy was crazy. It amused her though. His talent also interested her. What was this floating thing, and all that with the water. Devil Fruit user? Maybe, but maybe not. He doesn't look like he's from her home.

Looking up at him as he dropped to the roof she was seated on, she leaned back on a hand, watchful. "My fleet is indeed huge, but it's also not here. Sadly. My brothers and sisters are all back home and I am here on my own." Well, not alone, but that is beside the point. "As for stage? I have my hand at the creative side, not the performance side."

"A famous man in an age long past once said that all the world is a stage and we are all performers upon it." Anji twirled one of the fans between his fingers, kicking up a gentle breeze.

"So you are newly arrived to this realm as well? Yet I've not heard of you before this moment, and one would think a pirate fleet such as that would have made headlines where I'm from, given a single airship crew back home was able to cause quite some chaos.."
