Ah, but the Grey Lady had said such a thing would come at a steep price. Did she mean just gathering all of the shards in the first place? Or was there something more... Robin realized she knew woefully little about true magic and the toll it would take on a person. Perhaps she'd sacrifice her own freedom in the process.

Robin sprouted eyes ahead of them, following all potential paths he might take, and smiled to see the rooftop display.
