high_seas | Happy Birthday to You~

[When Thash woke up in the morning it was usually pretty slowly. Maybe at home in some risky srea or in a cave he'd sleep lightly but here, in a soft warm bed aboard a fairly safe ship, he slept like a rock]

[So he sort of half woke up, giving a small yawn and stretching his arms out a little then curling them back in to lightly squeeze what they'd been wrapped around... which happened to be Faye]

*At the gentle squeeze of the arms around her, Faye slowly began to wake herself. She yawned down into the mattress, and nuzzled her body closely to Thash's. Then her eyes slowly blinked open for a moment before she closed them again, as though choosing to stay in the comfort of sleep*

[Feeling Faye stirring caused Thash to wake up a little more. His eyes blinked open and he looked down at her a few moments before snuggling closer with his arms and tail. His drowsy voice was quiet when he spoke]

Hey... 'morning, gorgeous.

*Waking up next to him like that still made her giggly and happy. Faye nuzzled up close to him, grinning against his shoulder before giving it a small kiss*

Morning, sharky.

*Finally, she opened her eyes, blinking sleepily up at him and smiling lazily*

[He hadn't quite gotten used to it either, amazed at how comforting it was and how happy it made him first thing in the morning]

[He smiled back at her, kissing her forehead] how'd you sleep?

Mm.. Okay.

*Faye smiled warmly at the kiss, and liftes a hand to brush the hair from his eyes. It was something she had to do often when they lay like this, but she likes it*

How about you? Well restes?

*Faye yawned gently*

Yeah...[when she brushed his bangs out of the way she'd be met with a warm smile] Hm, guess what day it is....

*She blinked at first, trying to guess what day it was. She wasn't in the habit of knowing the days. It still wasn't quite Thash's birthday yet which must mean... She smiled when she realised what he meant, then leaned back gently and widened her eyes*

Do I look old now?

Heh...one day older than yesterday, but still plenty youthful. But hey, getting older has it's benefits.... Like getting pampered on your birthday. Want some breakfast in bed?

*Faye chuckled at his reply - he never said the expected, obvious thing. She tilted her head at his suggestion, seemingly rather surprised at such a thing*

Really? Sure.

*Breakfast in bed wasn't something she'd ever had brought to her before. She almost thought it was a romantic thing that people did in books only, never in actual real life*

Yeah really, heh. Alright, just hang out for a few minutes.

[he got up slowly, starting to crawl over her to get out of bed. He paused before he was all the way up though, leaning down to kiss her on the neck affectionately. He then stood up and put his pants on, heading out the door]

Okay.

*Faye smiled brightly at the kiss, and turned to watch him leave. When he was gone, she turned her face into his pillow, then burst into a fit of muffled giggles. Faye didn't really have any expectations for her birthday, but the idea of breakfast being made for her and brought to her in bed excited her a lot. She sat up eventually and combed her fingers through her hair to be sure that she didn't look too bedraggled when he came back to her. Then she went through a series of stretches that she could still do in bed while sitting down, waiting for him to come back with breakfast*

[hed come back a little while later with a plate of food for her, consisting of eggs, smoked meat and toast. He'd come over and hand it to her, then sit in the bed next to her watching her expectantly. He was more used to cooking up meat than eggs or toast so he wanted to see if he'd done a suitable job. The eggs were cooked all the way through (over hard) and the toast was darkened but not black....it was probably a little more toasted than most people liked]

Hope I didn't mess it up too bad...it's been a while since I cooked eggs and I almost never toast bread.

*Faye sat up straight against the pillows when Thash came back in, her eyes scanning the various foods on the plate. He hadn't done badly at all. She smiled and shook her head in reply in a way that suggested that she thought the food was just fine*

You're so cute making this for me that I could just eat you up for breakfast.

Eheheh...[he smiled happily although he wasn't quite sure how to respond to that at first, till he thought of something funny] well, it's your birthday so you can eat whatever you want today... [he said with a flirtatious smirk]

Anyway, hope you like it.

*She chuckled when he delivered the line with that smirk, and she returned it with a coy smile of her own*

Maybe I'll have you for dessert.

*Then, because she was hungry and didn't want the food to get cold, Faye started digging into her breakfast, heartily eating and seeming quite impressed with what he had made her. She glanced at him, and nodded towards the plate she had balanced on her lap*

You want some?

Hahah...you sure I'm sweet enough to be a dessert?

[he smiled at her offer but shook his head] it's okay, I munched on stuff while I was cooking that, so it's all yours.

Mhm. You're sweeter than you think.

*Faye turned to him for a moment and licked her lips before going back to her breakfast. She tackled the toast next, the crunching rather loud as she chewed through it*

Thank you for breakfast.

*While she'd never had breakfast in bed, she'd often been offered breakfast out, though usually after her performance in bed the night before. Thash had made her breakfast without her even doing that much, and that felt quite special*

[He thought he'd probably taste salty, but realized he was now starting to think about that way too literally. By now he'd come to realize that when Faye licked her lips it was a flirty thing and he blushed a little, scratching the back of his head]

[When she thanked him he gave a smile so big his eyes closed. It was probably pretty cute] you're welcome! Glad you like it, heheh.

[He was happy when he made anything she was willing to eat, really. He wasn't a skilled cook and she didn't seem like the kind of person who would eat something she found distasteful, so to him it was a nice bit of success]

*It was a good job he didn't say that salty part, because that would have made her laugh. She giggled at that blush, though, glad that her flirting was getting through to him now. When his eyes closed with that wide smile, Faye put the plate aside, then moved over to him so that she was sitting on his lap, facing him*

I sure did.

[He blinked a bit when she moved onto his lap but didn't seem to mind it, putting his hands on her back to support her.]

Guess you're done eating huh?

[He said it with a bit of a chuckle, moving his face a little closer to hers. A smooth smile came to his lips]

Or are you?

*Faye wriggled a little when he put her hands on his back, then leaned close enough that her nose was almost touching his*

Hmm... I might be ready for dessert.

*She rested her hands firmly on his hips, doing her best to ignore the things her body was telling her body that she wanted, as she so often had to do when she allowed herself to get close to Thash like this*

Well, hopefully you'll be fine with getting a second portion of dessert tonight heh... but I guess I can be sweet for you now too if that's whay you'd like.

[He wasn't used to speaking in slightly confusing metaphors like this and hoped he wasn't screwing it up. He could tell she wanted to be close right now, which he didn't mind although he hoped she'd be ready for it again later. Even if she wasn't though, she was the birthday girl... far be it from him to deny her what she wanted]

[...Besides, it'd be hard for him not to feel a little desire himself with her sitting on him like that. Sheesh this woman could be tempting]

You're looking pretty sweet yourself... [Yes, even in her PJs. His hands slid down to the sides of her hips to pull them gently towards himself, and he lowered his face to her neck and starting to kiss along the side of it]

You're offering more already? I like the sound of that.

*Faye smirked, and her hands moved from his hips round to slip into the tops of the pockets of his pants. He needn't worry about her not wanting to be close later, either. Her own desire was a difficult one to extinguish. That, and she was happy to be as tempting as he could be*

*She definitely appreciated the compliment while she felt like she probably still looked pretty messy. Faye hadn't expected him to go straight to her neck, and her hands squeezed gently as she sighed at the kisses*

[He blushed a little at the feel of her hands slipping into his pockets... it was a highly tantalizing sensation. He sighed a bit too, his hot breath brushing past her neck as he continued to kiss up it until he reached her jaw]

[He then moved his face back up to hers, leaning in close enough that his lips barely brushed hers as he spoke]

Never knew I'd like someone else's hands in my pockets more than my own...

[His thumbs rubbed along her hips a bit, wondering if her little PJ shorts had pockets on them]
