Who: The crew of Triton's Mistress
Where: Triton's Mistress
When: January 14th
What: Alex arrives on Triton's Mistress
Warnings: PG-13 at worst for possible language
Style: any
Status: closed to crew

Day:

Teleportation was not something to just be messed around with. So, after Alex found the mentioned 'Nav' in Backwater Brig, she took her time having it explained (much to the annoyance of the people around her) before he tried using it. She made a quick note in the journal to announce her intentions of arriving and then... turned the thing on.

And next she knew, she was on a ship.

"Okay. Wow. That... actually worked. Okay."

She had a bag with her, enough to hold a few pairs of clothes and other basic necessities. There was a cutlass (almost too heavy right now for her to hold during the day, but she'd train the muscles soon enough) at her side and a bow over one shoulder. Over the other was a quiver of arrows. Not quite the pure silver arrows and compound bow she was used to, but... they were weapons.

Now, onto the real task: meeting everyone and getting to know this ship.

That last one was gonna take awhile.

Night:

Alex disappeared around dusk, actually catching a couple hours sleep between the sunset and real darkness. Once the sun was truly gone, though, she was wide awake.

...And utterly miserable.

Anyone awake throughout the night or on watch would no doubt hear the retching. And, eventually, around midnight, she half crawled on deck to heave a bucket over the side and spend the rest of the night, all color drained from her skin by illness (presumably), clutching to the rail and leaning over the side to be sick.

Come dawn, she fell back asleep, curled up against the rail, and in proper morning light... all traces of illness before were gone.
