Heavy Chests
Who: The crew of the Koumyou!
Where: Out on the Open Seas.
When: 27th of January to the 1st of February.
What: The aftermath of the curse, the return of Clementine, and a chance for the new crew members to finally settle in properly.
Warnings: None so far, though there are likely to be some upsetting topics discussed at some point.
Style: Whatever you wish!
Status: Closed to crew of the Koumyou.
A catch-all post for the next six days, here. As always, I'll edit in links to individual threads here once they pop up; please put a date in your header as well as an 'open' or 'closed,' so we can all keep track. ♥

I didn't see anything
Thank you.
[Clementine looks back at the ocean, idly picking at a fingernail.]

She's obviously physically older in a way that's impossible for mere month, but the biggest difference is in her bearing. He and Mitsuhide come from an era of civil war, and so to an extent he can recognise the impact of war upon her... the loss of innocence and the underlying despair, the jaded spirit. That said, it's not precisely the same. The only thing that he can tell for certain is that whatever she's been through, it was far from kind.]
How long were you gone?
no subject
I was gone for two years, for me I guess.
no subject
A long while. It's no surprise, then, that you have grown. [In more ways than one.] Just under a month has passed here since you went overboard.
[He finally spares her the weight of his regard, looking out to the water himself. He could question her about those two years, but her demeanour tells him that now is not the right time to press. Let her settle back in, first. His crew's wellbeing is a priority.]
Take as much time as you need to reaccustom yourself. Is there anything that you need?
no subject
[She feels a little guilty about that, but she had other things on her mind when she was at home. She appreciates him looking somewhere else at least. It's been awhile since she's had to have a normal conversation.]
I'm fine...it's fine. It's just different from being at home, that's all.
[Clementine is hoping for her own sake she can calm down.]
No, I got the bandage I needed, I've eaten, slept and had a hot shower. It's been pretty good.
no subject
[He takes no offence that she has forgotten.]
Good. But do not push yourself needlessly. There is no shame in taking needed rest.
no subject
I know. I won't. I'll be okay as long as my arm isn't infected.
[She can't be sure if it is or isn't, but she's done her best with it.]
no subject
Oh? [His gaze flicks to her bandaged wound.] I expect you to leave the strenuous work to your crewmates until your wound is sufficiently healed. When you next go to change that bandage, let either myself of Mitsuhide see its state.
no subject
[Clementine nods. She'll have to leave the strenuous work to them anyway, at least until she gets back to some sort of semblance towards normal. Her condition isn't all that great, but it will get better sooner rather then later.]
