The deck of the Koumyou is garishly festively decorated with banners, streamers, strange origami creatures, what seem to be a few abstract paintings of some sort, random bolts of cloth that may once have been party dresses, two separate pinatas (a shark and some sort of hairy crab) and a wide assortment of other odds and ends in an eye-searing array of color. There are a few large chests that have been dragged up from below deck to serve as tables for some colorful (but actually edible, don't worry) snacks and some that actually look like they were prepared by someone with a modicum of sanity. Flitting about amongst it all making last minute preparations is the indomitable Morale Officer Hajime Ichinose of the good ship Koumyou.

Much harder to find is the actual birthday boy.
