Hello Again, My Bloody Roses
Who: Faye and the The Bloody Roses
Where: The Gilded Rose, out at sea.
When: Several days after the burning island thing.
What: Faye makes her return.
Warnings: Depends. It's Faye, so probably swearing. Maybe violence. Who knows?
Style: Any
Status: Crewbies
Akira had owed Faye dinner. Or maybe he hadn't really owed her, but he'd offered, and of course she agreed. What she hadn't expected, though, was for him to suggest coming over immediately as soon as Grell shared the news about setting the island on fire. Faye had voiced that she'd been less than impressed, and had straight away snapped up Akira's invitation. At the time, that was all it was, just going for her dinner. But in the four or five days that she spent on the Million Merry, Faye had to admit to herself that perhaps, in pirate and crew terms, what she had actually done was a bit more severe. She wondered if it counted as ignoring instructions, or being disloyal, or something. Faye couldn't be sure. After her little trip away, though, Faye did make the decision to head back to The Gilded Rose.
So she appeared on the ship, carrying a couple of coloured paper bags in her hands. She'd gone without anything but what she was wearing, after all, so she had to make some purchases while she was with the Straw Hats. After appearing at the Nav, Faye glanced round the deck to see if anyone was around, or if anyone was planning on bothering her.
Then she'd head straight for the galley, seeking some food. So if she wasn't found by a crew member on deck, they might discover her there instead, making herself a sandwich, sitting slumped on a chair with her bags on another seat beside her. Maybe if she just played it cool, like it was no big deal, her objections to Grell's decisions would go unnoticed.

"So, you're finally back."

Faye acting so blase, hmm? Grell can play that game as well.
"I'm cutting your share of any treasure we may find next time."

"Oh? Then should I just cut all of it, then?"
Since Faye had what she needed anyway.

"How do you think it looks when a member of the crew complains about our stint, then leaves for a FIVE DAYS right after, without word?!"
Her teeth and clenched together at the end of her statement, because she was angry.

Grell gave her a dirty look before crossing the gap between them. Going around the table, heels clicking against the floor, and invading Faye's personal space. Her next words were low, full of contained rage, and clearly spoken.
"The next time you have a problem with ME, you deal with me first, before you abandon the crew for some cheap thrill without word. Am I clear?"

Grell had to roll her eyes at her.
"Why would I respond to something like that through writing when I could speak to you in person?"

"I just made my comment. Weren't you listening?"
Even if Grell had a comment about her complaint, it was long forgotten with how she left. She would have said the same thing, but now she said it with anger.

From her written complaint, no less.
"How do you want me to address your complaints if you're not around?! Should I just write it in the journal for whenever you're up to checking it?"
This was all giving her a headache. She rubbed at the bridge of her nose, lifting her glasses to do so. "Who assisted you?" Because obviously, with an injured foot, Faye wouldn't be rescuing herself.

Grell adjusted her glasses once she was done with rubbing the bridge of her nose. "Remind me to thank him later." Dave has been right to recruit Thash to their crew. He has been quite an asset since joining. "I'm glad you're healing well enough for that."

"We shall see."
But there was something she wanted to know, and since she was here, it was the best time to ask.
"Did you go to see Loganberry?"
