WELCOME NEW CHARACTERS!
Have an intro log for the month of December!

Who: Any and all new characters, as well as anyone hanging out on or around Isla Empieza!
Where: Near the fountain in the town center.
When: New characters will arrive throughout the month of December! The log is good for as long as you need it.
What: You've just been dropped on your head in a weird new world. Time to figure out what the heck is going on!
Status: VERY OPEN.

It's winter time on Isla Empieza. You can tell because there is ice everywhere, making walking treacherous at best. There also seems to be some odd sheep and goat festival going on, all the animals adorned with red and silver bells. Expect to hear a lot of bleating, run into occasional traffic jams...and see some frozen piles of suspicious origin. Otherwise, Isla Empieza is relatively peaceful and decorated to the hilt with wreaths and greenery. Its citizens are cheerful as they help newcomers and oldcomers alike, to sit back, relax, and enjoy some spiced beer.

Feel free to throw your characters here if you need a place for them to get situated and start figuring things out! Start new threads, tag into others, meet the people who might just become part of your crew! Older characters will be in and out, too, depending who is on the island at the current time.

What: A summit to get down to business and get this situation sorted out, L-Elf-style

Upon arriving on Breakneck Cay, if you can navigate the shoals safely and find safe mooring, you'll notice that the beach is more or less abandoned unless you count the countless shipwrecks an snarled piles of debris strewn across the shore. If you approach the jungle, you'll notice a makeshift sign pointing towards a path leading into the trees. There's a lengthy note tacked to it with a detailed map, an exhaustive list of rules and etiquette for participating in a military summit, and probably more if anyone actually got past the part with the map.

The meeting is to be held in a strangely silent clearing. Upon arriving, you'll find L-Elf sitting on the huge stone in the center, fast asleep. It's immediately obvious that this is not a social occasion or it at least wasn't planned by someone with any idea how to make guests feel comfortable. There's nowhere to sit except on the ground and definitely no refreshments. It might be a good idea to send someone back to the ship to pick something up if you want to make it through this thing.

What: The Wonderful Feast of Fools

What: Recovering from their last event, and getting into trouble.

When: October 17th 2pm-6pm
What: Battle, mayhem, treasure and piracy

Around 1:45pm, ships gathered in the waters between Turvey Top and Ebony & Ivory will see the gigantic Naval frigate, the Argustos, chugging through the calm waters to destinations unknown. Close by and running a little ahead on the wind is a Naval scout ship, caravel class, named Pantopes.

Sharp eyes will be able to spot the ships on the Argustos' tail, though, and the giant frigate will weigh anchor to prepare for the attack of the Corpse King and his five ship Armada, made of three caravels and two brig sloops.

The Corpse King himself has a brig sloop, Achlys and will be at the back end of the battle, providing cover fire.


Feel free to attack to your heart's content and loot wherever you wish. There's great treasures there for the bold and daring, and most unpleasant deaths for the unwary.
