We're probably going to focus on Great Celestial Beautiful Soldiers Fighting Force Go Island because REASONS, but feel free to start threads for other islands at any time. We also still might try our hand at going after the Corpse King, too. And if there are any weather shenanigans / crazy weekly phenomena that we want to play with, go ahead and toss up a starter for them as they come up! Just be sure to date and label your threads so we know what's what!

[There's a quiet invasion going on aboard the Sea Princess. A small team of Spades climbs aboard aft, and quickly spreads themselves out across the ship. They are cleverly disguised and completely indiscernible as Spades, obviously.

Namur, for instance, put a bandage over the tattoo on the back of his hand, a cabbie hat over his hair, and drew an impressively large, attractively curved mustache under his nose. Now everyone smells like marker ink, but he's taking one for the team. The Howling Sabers will never suspect the eight foot tall fishman isn't one of their own... right? He wanders around the ship, looking for the last island's token or, barring that, a fishing net. He's pretty sure they won't have nearly enough stocks of fish in their galley, and it'll give him credibility or some shit.]

[They were not a large crew, it was not difficult to remember and recognize everyone who belonged, and notice those who did not. As it was one of the duties Futo had given herself, to protect the ship, she made sure to keep an eye for suspicious activity. Finding a large unfamiliar person aboard, and the sudden presence of additional hands of which they were desperately lacking drew some alarm bells.]

[Not to mention the man seemed to have an air about him that felt natural to life aboard a ship. Or at least he seemed less 'what the hell is this crazy ship sailing thing we need to figure out?' pretty much the whole crew of the Howling Sabers had about them.]

Speak they business quickly, for those with unfamiliar faces are those to be shot and disposed of quickly.

[Though she meant in a none lethal way, since this was suppose to be sport and not a life or death trial.]

[Namur does pause, turn, and doff his hat with a grin at the little lady.]

Jus' lookin' for a net, sweetheart. Galley's gettin' low on fish so I figured I'd take a dive an' go catch a few. Any idea where that dunderhead put it?

[You know, the one that's always misplacing the fishing net.]

[She tilted her head a bit confused.]

Draco dono...?

[WAIT! She was falling into their pace!]

Do not try and pull your trickery upon me. You are far too sure of your footing to be part of this ship. Not to mention a complete stranger. Why have you boarded us? Please we do not have time for such distractions. If you are a newcomer....

[She wasn't sure really. Someone new should be properly looked after. However someone new was a burden and should be dropped off somewhere until a later date.]

[Draco's a dunderhead. Good to know.]

Shit sweetheart, yer cuttin' me deep. How could y' forget my pretty pretty face?

[He pretends to stroke the mustache, but since its only drawn on, he mostly misses.]

Look, I know we gotta get t' the next island an' all, but what the hell y' think's gonna happen if we get up on the cloud island an' then run outta food, huh? Can't go fishin' up there, y' know. Gotta stock up. 'S worth takin' an hour or two an' makin' sure we got 'nuff t' last, catch me?

If such a thing happens, they can live off eggs.

[But she knew exactly what they had in their stores, and had managed the supplies before hand. Sure it was dried goods with the addition of what they caught while sailing, but it was enough.]

And I have not forgotten, I have never met such a one as is before me.

[And it was time to stop the farce, she stretched her arm back summoning her bow and pulling back an arrow of light.]

I should say you are most fortunate to have run into myself, as the captain is more inclined to extremes.

[Though considering some of the things Sasuke has done... and some of the things Futo has done, that wasn't saying much.]

He is a pirate, as we are.

[Well Itachi doesn't honestly consider himself an actual pirate, but they are all in this situation together. He keeps tabs on the journals enough to recognize some of the voices even if he can't put names to them all yet.

He has, as ninjas do, appeared out of practically nowhere, and now stands on a barrel with his arms crossed.]

If he is here, he's hoping to find something.

[Not surprising. He likely wouldn't be the only one to take advantage of the fact that so many ships had been together recently.]

[ Bolin, for his part, sort of already owned a mustache for this occasion, and was completely on board for this boarding. Espionage!! Yeah!!

To be honest, he's about as good at looking casual under stress as he is at having a poker face. Terrible. Comes of being more of an entertainer at heart. But if nothing else, with Pabu stashed in his shirt, he'll be great for a distraction.

Wow, this kind of stuff was so much easier when he was a kid on the street, what's the deal. ]

[Noting the first invader, Itachi has spread out clones around the ship to watch for others. Indistinguishable from the real ninja aside from their lack of shadows, they keep themselves in shadow until they run into unfamiliar faces.

Why the mustaches?

One appears behind Bolin, speaking up at the best opportunity to startle him.]

I believe you may be aboard the wrong ship.

[ As great as Bolin is for a distraction, he's even better for a startle. When he's the guy being startled anyway. When Itachi appears behind him and speaks, he offers a visible jump and a high-octave yelp.

Like a true hero. ]

Wow! [ He turns and clutches the front of his shirt dramatically. ] Wow, you're really quiet! I mean, that's actually kind of amazing, how do you do that?

[Hopefully that yell was enough to alert his brother or others about another stowaway. For now, the clone regards the young man with a slight tilt of his head.]

I am a ninja. Stealth is a necessity.

[Granted, some ninja are stealthier than others, and some are front line fighters who hardly use stealth at all... But Itachi finds it important, and from what he's seen of others' knowledge of ninja they believe they should too.]

I'll need you to state your business, or I'll need to inform the captain.

[And Itachi is the polite brother.]

Oh. Nnnnever heard of a ninja before, but that's cool. [ He's really used to being confused after this long on the ocean. ] And, you know, being totally honest? I'm mostly just here because I wanted to wear the mustache.

[ This is very, very sadly true. ]

[This isn't the first time Itachi has met someone completely unfamiliar with a ninja, so he isn't at all surprised. Thankfully, this particular invader seems like less of a threat, at least personality-wise, than the other two.]

I believe you.

In fact, you seem reasonable, so I'm not going to have you tossed overboard right away. I have no desire to make enemies of other crews if it can be helped.

[Narcissa knew these were not the same people aboard their ship a week ago. It wasn't yet confirmed one way or the other whether they were new crew or invaders upon their ship, but she may as well find use for them. This one didn't look threatening, and she still had her wand on her just in case, so she found no issue with starting with him.]

Why are you simply standing around when there is work to be done?

[... Okay, so she had no authority on this ship, but she figured he didn't know this yet.]

[ And caught. Sort of. Wait, is the mustache actually working? Wow, that's so great, he wasn't sure if this whole trip even had a chance! ]

Oh, me? [ He looks around behind him just to be sure she's not looking at someone else. ] I dunno, I was kind of wondering why nobody was asking me to help out. It just seems like the crew-ly thing to do, right? But I didn't want to accidentally mess stuff up, either, so it kind of came down to a judgement call.

Then it was due to the fact that there was no one available to supervise? You still could have started. There is work to be done in the food stores, you can start there. It is a simple enough task.

[One errant pirate might have been a fluke of the Nav, but two is a plan, and Sasuke is not best pleased to know that there is a plan being put into action on board his own ship that he hasn't personally approved, with people who aren't his people.

Not that anyone on board is technically his besides Itachi, but the idea stands.

Sasuke keeps his chakra suppressed as he drops noiselessly through the rigging to land directly behind the intruder, swordpoint raised to press into the base of the man's spine.]

Explain yourself. You get one sentence.

[ Aww man, that's totally a sharp object. And everything attached to it means business.

Yeah, goes to figure. Bolin immediately brings his hands up as a token of surrender. ]

Explain myself being on deck, or explain myself in like… a weird, cosmic sense? [ It's a legitimate question. ]

[The point of the blade pushes a little deeper into fabric, accompanied by a threatening twist that implies that Sasuke is about to stick the intruder through the middle.

He's not, really, since that answer sounded more stressed than calculated, and he figures it won't be too difficult to toss this one overboard without having to stab him first, but there's no point not communicating his seriousness.]

Since your explanation isn't to my liking, your choice is to get off the ship. Now.

[ Wow, this is either the least or most successful infiltration he's ever had. Kind of depends on if he's judging non-maimed-or-imprisoned escapes or… actually infiltrating anything. On the survival front, this is going surprisingly well. ]

Yeahhh, that does sound pretty fair. I'll take it, I'm not a choosy guy.

[this completely not an intruder at all seven foot tall pirate is standing around, stoking a long luxuriant brown mustache in a completely non threatening way as he looks over the ship and occasionally rubs his hands together as if plotting something. Feel free to ignore]

[This is a ninja ship. There isn't a cockroach on this vessel that goes ignored.

One of Itachi's clones hops onto the rail near this new passenger, red eyes watching him curiously.]

[watches him back and strokes the mustache]

Hello, kid. [stroke stroke. Look at the strands of brown as they shimmer in the light. Also his hair is fantastic. You've never seen a pompadour so pert, he's sure of it. In either case, there is a mission at hand]

Would you like to buy a watch?

[There are very few people would will give less of a damn about that fresh style, unfortunately.

The clone blinks at the question, as it isn't at all what he expected. That won't distract him enough from the current task, though.]

Are there indeed? [reaches into his tunic and pulls out... a notepad and a feather pen] Well, young master, I am all ears...

[he takes off the mustache and twists to the side to sneeze violently, then sticks it back on and gives the youth an inquisitive look]
