"Thanks," Marco grinned, blushing a little happier. He would never get used to so many people offering their help to deal with slavers. To rescue Ace, he barely had to say a word to get people volunteering to rescue him, but slavers were the oldest Whitebeard enemies there were. The oldest enemies of Marco's. Even Blackbeard fought against slavers. And yet, the sudden surge of multiple crews offering their expertise and strength to aid him was... amazing. Marco wasn't used to feeling so heartwarmed from a bunch of ships he'd consider loosely allied by circumstances at best. It was certainly different from the Whitebeard allies, but in no way less good.
"They're the oldest Whitebeard enemies too. Different in this world, but not so much so that we shouldn't be able to put a huge dent in the trade." He'd like to destroy it completely, but that would require destroying the market for it, and Marco had less faith in humanity than that. So long as people existed, some were going to try to enslave others, he was sure of that.
