Topsy Turvey
Who: Hazmats with special guest star Aokiji
Where: at sea, a Navy base in the west-southwest, then Turvey Top
When: seagoing Oct. 1-15 with a stop of about a day on the 9th to raid a Navy base, then Turvey Top from the 15th onward (tbd by October plots)
What: they need a new ship. They're going to steal one from the Navy and then take it to Turvey Top to get it refitted/hide out for a while. And deal with curses, plots, and witches. Also picking up a lost and lonely Kuzan at some point.
Warnings: not likely but let me know
Style: anything you want
Status: closed to whoever's under "Who"
The vacation was nice, but for a few days of Cynthia not remembering some of her friends, but it became clear by the end of it that Raphael wasn't coming back, at least not in the immediate future. They had to accept it and continue on, now without any of their turtle-pals who had brought them together as a crew in the first place.
Size of ship was not quite an issue, but the Hazardous Materials had gone through so many changes lately that there really was only one way for it. Gan Ning felt they needed a fresh start, and what better way than by procuring a new ship? They could christen it with a new name, though he didn't mind still being referred to as Hazmats in homage to the turtles who built the crew and were their friends. Besides, that was what the bounty posters called them, no sense in confusing that. A few casual inquiries around Aquatica Paradise uncovered the presence of Navy bases on small islands in this part of the world. But of course, what with that rumor of the frigate passing through on the current soon...
They set course for the base to do some real piracy. After that, though, they would have to see what island would come up on the escape heading. They could hide out there to refit the ship, make it their own. Little did they know they had found an island with a witch who was rumored to bless or curse even visitors...

Yeah, I see that. You win.
[If he ends up naked first, this is just going to be weird and not fun at all.]

no subject
What? Counting ribs?
[He's well aware how skinny he is. It's just a metabolism thing.]
no subject
[Roxas turns his attention to the cards in his hands again and focuses. A big load of nothing. He takes three cards and turns them in to Lea.]
Not about anything really.
no subject
Why don't I believe that? C'mon, spill.
[Roxas is never "just thinking." He's learned that.]
no subject
[He waits while Lea decides everything.]
no subject
[Lea turns a bit to the side so that Roxas can see his shoulder more clearly, then swaps out two of his cards. He was hoping for a full house, but it looks like three of a kind is the best he can do. He lays his cards down.]
Can you beat that?
no subject
Yeah, I still like it.
[He leans forward and sighs.]
I don't think so.
[He lays down his cards. Nothing matches, but he does have an ace! that's something!]
no subject
[Lea grins and snatches up the cards to deal them again. He'd probably be this excited if it looked like he was going to win a regular game of poker, so it's totally okay, right? Totally.]
no subject
It's a little weird though with the breasts there. He's not used to looking down and seeing them.]
no subject
There's your cards.
[He's going to look at his cards now. Not boobs. Not boobs at all.]
no subject
[Roxas looks over the cards carefully trying to decide what he wants to do. He looks over them carefully and then trades three cards. While he waits for Lea to decide, he leans back on his arm, opening his body up for viewing. It's not intentional, just a happy accident.]
no subject
So, um, last round, I guess, if you lose. Then...er...
[He scratches the back of his head.]
Well, whatever. What've you got?
no subject
I've got this one.
[He lays out the cards, he has three sevens, a ten and a nine.]
That looks okay, right?
no subject
Last round, I guess. Unless someone's got extra underwear on. Geez, I'm glad I bothered to wear them at all...
[Too much information, Lea.]
no subject
[He leans forward and takes the new cards when Lea deals them, looking thoughtful. He doesn't want to lose, but he's got nothing.]
no subject
Pair of threes. Better than nothing. What do you have?
[It better be nothing. Lea hates losing at cards.]
no subject
I think I lost again.
no subject
Yeah, you sure do. Man, usually we'd tell the loser they'd have to, I don't know, run a lap outside or something, but I'd get in so much trouble.
[He crosses his arms as he thinks.]
There's gotta be some sort of penalty...
no subject
[He stands to correct this, sliding the underwear off his hips. It doesn't fit right anyway. This time he blushes a little, his cheeks turning a light pink.]
no subject
Well, I can't exactly make you go run around...did Ikki give you markers back when he was emptying out toy stores for you?
[It sounds like Lea has another brilliant idea.]
no subject
I don't think so. Mostly he got me memory games to make me smarter.
no subject
[Why can't that guy be useful once in his life?]
Hold that thought.
[Lea starts rummaging through his own things and pulls out a jar of ink and a brush that he bought thinking he could make fancier looking ads for his chocolate that way until he realized he couldn't write with a brush.]
Okay, stand still. Punishment game time.
[He begins carefully painting on Roxas with the ink. Faces, embellishments, a nice "I suck at cards" on his back...]
no subject
That kind of tickles!
[He looks a little embarrassed, more from the body painting than the nudity.]
no subject
[Lea chortles to himself as he tugs his pants and shirt back on.]
Gonna have to let that dry before you get dressed unless you wanna run out to get some water to wash up with.
[A part of him will always be a stupid teenager. That's something Roxas is just going to have to live with.]
