Some days just don't go quite right.

In the Town Square, regarding the statue with its prophetic writings, stood an alicorn. She held her wings half-spread in a regal display state, and her horn shone with a golden light that mirrors the orb she's conjured to better throw the faded words on the statue into relief.

Between this and the journal, she could only guess what was afoot...

"...Have I stumbled into a Daring Do novel somehow?"

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the magic winged unicorn could talk. And did, to herself, it seemed.

That's horrible! In my land there are ponies, but I'm afraid none of them can talk, at least not human language.

[She pauses at that, there's a thought there.]

Now that I think of it, isn't it strange? I'm sure I can understand everyone around here, being in another land I would have expected there to be language difficulties, but everyone seems to talk in English, despite no one knowing what England is.

[At least it sounds English for her.]

Whoever brings us here really should have a better sense! If they are going to bring you here like this, at least they should make sure that you don't have even more difficulties than humans have upon arriving here. It's an unfair treatment, even more so since you're a princess!

[Elizabeth pouts, even if she knows there's nothing that can be changed or done that way. It's certainly unfair, though. If Celestia is expected to do just as humans then the world should be adapted so she only has the same level of difficulties as humans, not more.]

Can you imagine a way in which a world could be perfectly adapted for both ponykind and your kind? I think that a balance in the middle would inconvenience both. Besides, just because I will need to adapt does not mean I will be greatly put out by it. I still have my wings and my magic, after all.
