[As soon as the sun did not rise on the 1st, like others had suggested it would, Gan Ning wanted off Isla Empieza. He put out the call to his crew - get on the ship, leave no man behind. Or woman, Cynthia.

The storm hit while they were two days out from the island. It would take all hands on deck to keep the Nightfury from capsizing, good thing they have a couple of solid dragons to keep things in check. Just watch out for Gaius and his fiery pendant! By the time the storm blows out in the wee hours on the 4th, the charts put them drifting near to Eternal Bliss. Are the residents still pissed at pirates for what Kodachi did? Who cares, they need to land to make repairs. And maybe score some treasure, if anyone wants to go through the marriage requirement.

[He flashes a faint, lopsided smile at that, watching as she goes. In the meantime he goes back to eying the pot, wondering just how long it's going to keep at it. Of course, the same could be asked for the storm.

There's some relief to see Cynthia return, upon which Gaius looks up from where he stands, leaning against a side counter, arms folded.]

[The champion whistles for her Braviary, who flies her over and drops her right in front of their new guest. Talk about a flashy entrance. But she can do those now that she had a giant eagle pokemon that'd willingly fly her to any spot on the boat.]

It didn't hurt you, did it?

[She walks over to stand next to the man, putting the chest down on the counter next to him. Cynthia wasn't actually sure if he still had some left over from the previous time that she gave him this. But then again, it's been seven months, they should be gone by now.

Cynthia opens the chest to reveal bright, shiny, gold foil wrapped chocolate coins.]

Just like the first time we met.

[He peers over at the small chest as she opens it, a grin brightening his face.]

Huh. Well, well, well...

[That certainly sparks a memory all right.]

I had something else in mind. But I figured, this would be better than just another box of chocolates, right?

[Of course, she wouldn't mention that they were specialized royal label chocolates that were prized and so rare they only release a few boxes of it to the public. Nope. He's never going to know about those. Plus there was no way in hell she was spending 1000 doubloons on a crush. ]

[....daaang at that price those chocolates should be made of gold. Gaius slips a hand out to pick out one of those coins.]

I'd ask what you had in mind, but I'm not arguing about these.

[They probably were, or at least covered in gold or something. They were made specifically for a queen after all.]

Let's just say, they were special chocolates. I asked Ms. Margie for chocolates that would impress a "candy connoisseur". But then I realized that getting you chocolate coins and giving them to you in the cave where we met would be much more special than some over priced box of chocolates.

Well overpriced chocolate doesn't necessarily mean it's good chocolate.

[Of course he's a little curious now, but he's not going to complain for what's been given him. Carefully he peels the outer wrapper of the chocolate coin.]

These're special enough in their own way.

Speaking of things that I got while I was away. I also picked up some cookbooks for the library I'm making. I'm pretty sure there are some pastry books in with the mix.

[She pulls up her sleeve to show him the small turtle tattoo that she got on her wrist.]

[He takes a bite of the chocolate coin, letting it melt a bit in his mouth.]

Heh, a library? Lea oughta be interested in some of those, but I'll be up for having a look at any pastry books, definitely.

[And when she shows him the tattoo, he smiles lopsidedly.]

You sure kept yourself busy.

Of course I did. The whole point of taking a vacation from the crew is getting to do things without you guys stressing me out. But then Hiccup told me about how bad you felt when I disappeared.

[She rests her hand on his arm reassuringly.]

Really, if I had known, I would have been back much sooner.

[He fingers the remaining half of chocolate, shaking his head.]

...hey, don't worry about it. You're back now, right?

[She smiles softly at the man, then raises her hand to gently poke his nose.]

[He has no idea who Sora is, but he doesn't really care, either. His eyes are still on Oathkeeper.]

I don't need to hold it, I just want to...

[Reaches out, sliding a finger down the sleek blade exactly where Roxas said not to. It's such an odd weapon, why on earth would you need to battle anything with a giant key?

Draco pulls his hand back after a moment, straightening up again.]

It's very nice. And you can perform magic with this?

[Though he sounds a bit terse now. He cancels his shield with a wave of his wand.]

I have quick reflexes. [Eyes Cynthia and her giant eagle.] And you are?

[Lea sighs and shakes his head. He hates having this conversation. It's not easy when he's the only one who'll even admit that it's true. Everyone else always tries to sugarcoat it or insist to Roxas that it isn't going to happen and it's not doing him any favors.]

It won't be like that, though. That's just what you're afraid it's gonna be like.

[He starts poking through the box. Geez, who even needs this many cookbooks?]

Do you really think so Lea? Because I...I can't do it Lea. I thought I could, you know? But that nothing...being trapped like that. I just can't.

[He finishes his words in a whisper. He's afraid. It has to happen and he's afraid. He feels guilt burning in the pit of his stomach, he hangs his head a little, almost ashamed.]

With it and without it, yeah. But everything is related to battling the Heartless. I can cast fire, thunder, blizzard, light, gravity, aero and cure. I bought some new spells that's why I have a lot now. Light is what I'm best at though.

That would've been a lot less of a hassle, too. Still, this is worth the baking venture!

[Lea reaches over to pet his hair (which is still too long, by the way). He can't really speak in absolutes about the whole thing and he doesn't want to give him too much false hope, but this is something he's fairly confident about.]

I don't think so, I know so. Do you really think it's gonna be dark and cold and empty inside Sora? He's pretty much the opposite of all that stuff. If anything, you're gonna be so warm and cozy you aren't gonna want to leave.

Glad you think so! If bread didn't go stale so fast, I'd branch out to selling that, too.
