[Dooks right back at him, a little louder this time, and hops around some more.

...Though maybe they should take this out of his lab. Merlin forbid they knock something dangerous over.

Draco takes off again, bumping into Toothless as he tries to skirt around him and tumbling a bit before he scurries onward again, out into the corridor that will take them up to the deck.]

[The dragon looks beneath himself as he watches the ferret wander past, and he edges back out of the lab to follow Draco back up.]

[Once on deck, Draco spins around to face Toothless again, still hopping all over the place and seemingly unable to keep still. He takes off to hide behind a barrel for a moment, then pokes his head out to see if Toothless catches on.

It's like hide and seek! ...Or something similar. Tag? Who knows. It's hard to keep his thoughts completely straight when he's like this. He just knows he has an urge to play.]

[Toothless follows the ferret's motions with his head. Oh, oh, a game? The dragon seems to be eager to play along, tail swishing as he prepares himself for a small pounce in the direction of the barrel- not nearly enough to upset it, but he lands just short so that he can poke his flat face around its curve.]

[Quickly pulls back, skirting around to the other side of the barrel where he thinks Toothless won't be able to see him. Not that he waits there long enough to give the dragon a chance. A second later he's scrambling to the top of the barrel instead, dooking to get Toothless' attention.]

[Huh, where did he go? Toothless snorts, and then perks at the familiar sound before he straightens up, lifting his head to look over rather than around. Ah!]

[dragonbadfaith]

[Chitters happily and then leaps lightly right onto the dragon's head before scurrying down his back and hopping off one of his wings. He runs to the middle of the deck again and then spins to face Toothless, eagerly bouncing around.

Nyahaha, can't catch him!]

[The dragon shakes his head and then immediately turns about to dash after him with a wrorlf!

Oh yes he will!]

[Hops around with more dooking noises that sound almost like he's laughing. He keeps dashing away from Toothless, and then darting toward him, and then bouncing away again, letting the dragon chase him all around deck. Though, even though he's currently got ferret brain, the still human bit of him in there keeps a careful eye out just to make sure Toothless doesn't get too excited or anything.

Draco would like very much to not accidentally be stepped on and squashed. >.>

Several minutes and probably a few knocked over barrels later, Draco finally flops onto his side in from of Toothless. NEEDS A BREATHER.]

[Raaar! The dragon bounds after the ferret. As quick as the ferret is, likely he has to run twice as fast given that Toothless can cover the same distance without nearly so much effort.

There's probably going to be quite a bit to fix up, but at least nothing's burning. When Draco finally stops, the dragon sniffs at the little fuzzy form before settling there next to him.]

[Yeeeah he's pretty winded, just lying there panting. He bats his little paws at the dragon's nose when he sniffs him, flipping onto his back as Toothless settles beside him.

And then quite abruptly the ferret is gone and Draco is there instead, still on his back and still panting, but also laughing softly as he looks up at Toothless.]

Pretty cool, isn't it?

[Even though he'd known it was Draco, seeing him change back like that is still a little startling. The dragon sniffs at him again before resting his head over his front legs.]

[Sits up so he can attack Toothless' head with pets!!]

It's interesting being an animal. But being a dragon would be so much better.

He shakes his head playfully before stuffing his snout against Draco's stomach as he's being petted.]
