[She shoots a confused glance, flapping the wings on the backs of her arms. She flies, always has.]

Look, back home, this place called Sabaody had this little gimmick. Floating bubbles. They were supposed to pop as soon as you left the island, but I guess they work here.

[She tosses her a piece of coral.]

[Lorelai reaches for the coral and bobbles it in her hand dropping it to the ground. She reaches forward for it and is once again sent tumbling face first into the deck]

FUCK!

[She reaches out around her fumbling for the piece of coral and finally gets it in her hand]

So this is how you do the bubble thing? How do I turn it on?

[Ouch, you poor thing. That nose isn't going to be straight by the time this is over.]

Push the button on the back, hold it until the bubble is as big as you want it.

After that, it's all balance.

[Lorelai presses the button in the back and is lifted off the ground by the bubble, struggling to keep her balance she finally thinks she has it when she reflexively tries to shift her feet and her fin sends her barreling back down onto the deck]

If you're not careful you won't be able to sit down at all.

[She shakes her head, steadying the bubble.]

[Lorelai crawls her way back onto the bubble and grabs hold of Kiemi's hands. She hated this so much. Feeling like a child in a way. Being forced to learn to move all over again.

It's all balance, gentle leaning. Takes a while to get used to.

[Lorelai starts trying to lean and move, still holding Kiemi's hands she starts slowly moving the bubble trying to retain her balance. However controlling it is sensitive and her movement is jerky to say the least. stop. go. slow. fast. stop. slow. fast.]

It's going to take forever to get this down. I feel like a child.

I remember there being humans that would put little pedals and ride them like bikes.

[As soon as she speaks her concentration shifts enough and she loses her balance, wobbling around but not falling thanks to Kiemi's firm grip]
