"That I am, thank you." Maribelle almost sighs in relief when she finds out she had pegged him correctly for being who he was. She had of course met and known her fair share of gruff and grumpy soldiers, but given all the bandages and scars on this man, she couldn't exactly blame him if he was extra grumpy. When she takes her seat she stops briefly considering whether or not it would be rude of her to pry into his personal affairs.
"Vice-Admiral... if I may be so bold as to ask... how exactly did you come to be as wounded as you are right now? Were you ambushed when you arrived here? Or... was this perhaps something that happened in your own world?" She was already starting to rummage around for her mend staff... just in case he wasn't too prideful to accept some medical attention. It wouldn't really do to have one of her most competent members of her crew to be limping around the ship.
