So Selphie has decided that there's been far too much doom and gloom around the ship lately. The kraken, Sora dead, all the problems with the curses, and then turning back again. What better way to make that better than with a little bit of romance? Selphie set to it, using her own supply of candles and flowers (admittedly rather dried up by now). One evening, dotted around the ship in several places, are pop up romantic dates. These include a couple of candles, some flowers, some chocolates, and a sandwich sliced into two (because she wasn't going to cook a whole bunch of meals)!

Who left it there? Who knows? But it definitely looks like it was put there to be enjoyed, ideally by two people. If it looks romantic, that's because it's supposed to be. So grab your nearest and dearest Spade pirate, or bring two people together, and enjoy some flirting, love, and relaxation.

As for Selphie herself, she might be A) somewhere on the ship. Perhaps you stumble across her near a pop up date, or maybe you go looking for her to drag her/invite her to join you for the evening. Or B) you spy her/find her making a massive pile of sandwiches, or sorting dead dried flowers into bouquets, using strips of her pillowcase as ribbons.

*Selphie just laughs at that, because yes it's pretty useless, but she seems pleased enough wigh it anyway*

Guys are supposed to like stuff like brave, and strong, and handsome, right?

[Grins somewhat sheepishly, because her laugh is infectious.]

Sure, I guess. Especially the strong thing.

[Makes a show of bringing his fists close together in front of him, his elbows sticking out, and flexing. He looks at her expectantly.]

*As she watches his little display of strength, Selphie is surprised to find herself actually blushing. What lovely arms you have, Riku!*

Uhm... Well - you look strong, anyway...

*Don't make her stare*

[Quirks an eyebrow, then lets his arms fall and laughs a bit.]

Um, thanks. Heh. Sword fighting and all. Well, Keyblade fighting.

*Okay, so she finally drags her eyes away and looks down at her hands instead*

Yup! Looks like it's paid off!

*Her eyes widen as she realises what she has just said, and she lowers her head until her forehead meets the table*

I meant... that training is good for you. And so...it's good.

[WELL, he turns red at that but he still laughs it off, glancing away and rubbing the back of his neck.]

See? Compliments I can appreciate. Uh. ...Yeah, so. Thanks!

*Eventually she lifts her eyes and sees Riku glancing away, and she's pretty sure that means she's said the wrong thing. But she sits up and takes a flower from the bouquet, this time peeling its petals and leaves from it - gives her something to concentrate on*

Oh, sure! No problem! Compliments are healthy things too. It's nice to feel nice.

[alksjfhs oh Selphie no, he's just a dumb awkward boy!

He nods.]

Well in that case, what I said earlier still stands. You're very pretty, Selphie.

[He looks around at the flowers and candles.]

*She can't help but blush a little again, and she drums her fingers along the edge of the table because she doesn't know how she's supposed to react to compliments*

*At his next one, she just watches him and smirks. She's pretty sure he's figured it out but she wants to hold on to her secret just a little longer*

Thoughtful, hmm? What makes you say that?

[Grins back.]

Oh, you know.

[Pokes at one of the candles.]

Just a hunch that you really care about the others on board.

That's cause I do! I didn't come to this place with any friends, but since being on this ship I'd say I've made a few pretty good new ones. Everyone's been super nice to me so...

*She pauses as she looks at the candles - she had been close to blowing her cover and saying she wanted to do something nice for everyone. But she glances to Riku and grins*

So yeah, I guess I do.

[Let's her keep her secret, looking a little amused by the whole thing.]

Well, it's cool of you.

[Sits back and crosses his arms over his chest.]

You think anyone will actually use these to have a, uh...romantic dinner?

[aka WHO ARE YOU TRYING TO HOOK UP, give him the gossip. If there even is any, lol.]

*Selphie stares at him for a moment, wondering if he's going to say something to catch her out. But he doesn't, and she appreciates that*

Well, thanks. Some people have to try harder at being cool than others, ya know?

*She's not sure either, but she grins brightly at the suggestion*

I dunno! Do you? I mean, I'm guessing the other girls will be snapped up pretty quick. But I'm not sure who by... Ace might like Lara, or maybe the Doctor does, or Logan. Actually, she might wind up with more than one invite. I figured Kairi probably will be popular too.

*She gives Riku a look then, maybe trying to see if he has any info or feelings on that front, maybe partially wondering what he's doing here lumped with her instead. Whatever she was thinking, it was curious*

As for the others.. I dunno either. But maybe chocolate and sandwiches will be enough to get people talking and getting to know each other a bit more. That'd be nice too.

[Snorts.]

Heck no, I have no idea. I mean, all of you are... [He was going to say pretty again, but he's kind of being a broken record with that one compliment. He falters on coming up with something else, though.] —pretty great.

[....Internal facepalm. JUST GONNA CLEAR HIS THROAT and move on.]

Probably most of the guys on board would like spending time with any of you. You think some of the others might be interested in Kairi?

*With that comment, Selphie gives Riku a rather amused look, but she smiles all the same a slowly shake her head*

*She laughs a little and plucks a flower from the dead bouquet*

Well, maybe. I mean, they don't have a whole load of choice, so I might as well do. While at sea. But Kairi? Sure, why not? I think she might be kinda too young for some of the guys. But she cute and she's sweet.

*She glances around and leans forward, lowering her voice to a whisper*

I won't be offended if you wanna go find her.

Uh...no. No, Kairi's one of my best friends, but.

[Shakes his head.]

She's like little sister material at this point. Not that she's all that much younger than me.

*She smiles and gives a knowing nod*

Well that's good. I don't feel like I'm wasting your time, in that case!

*As she sits back in her chair and gazes up at the sky, she does seem to relax slightly.

[Leans back as well, turning his eyes skyward and resting his hands on his stomach.]

You weren't wasting my time anyway, and that's got nothing to do with whatever other girls are on board.

*Giggling a little at his comment, Selphie looks to Riku with a grin before looking back up at the sky again*

[Gives a snorting kind of laugh.]

*Selphie just looks at him for a moment and shakes her head, a warm smile on her face. That's almost the kind of thing that Irvine would say, and it's nice to remember*
