So Selphie has decided that there's been far too much doom and gloom around the ship lately. The kraken, Sora dead, all the problems with the curses, and then turning back again. What better way to make that better than with a little bit of romance? Selphie set to it, using her own supply of candles and flowers (admittedly rather dried up by now). One evening, dotted around the ship in several places, are pop up romantic dates. These include a couple of candles, some flowers, some chocolates, and a sandwich sliced into two (because she wasn't going to cook a whole bunch of meals)!

Who left it there? Who knows? But it definitely looks like it was put there to be enjoyed, ideally by two people. If it looks romantic, that's because it's supposed to be. So grab your nearest and dearest Spade pirate, or bring two people together, and enjoy some flirting, love, and relaxation.

As for Selphie herself, she might be A) somewhere on the ship. Perhaps you stumble across her near a pop up date, or maybe you go looking for her to drag her/invite her to join you for the evening. Or B) you spy her/find her making a massive pile of sandwiches, or sorting dead dried flowers into bouquets, using strips of her pillowcase as ribbons.

[Dying isn't a worry for Ikki, unfortunately, here or out of this place. He's not surprised by her answer, but it still makes him shake his head, well, if she ends getting burned with her ice spells or not no one can't say he didn't warn her.]

They can always light them again if they want to and it would be better than to wake up to a fire on the deck.

[Honestly, he can't get why anyone thought the candles were needed, romantic or not.]

*She leans over the candles, takes a deep breath, and blows them all out. Standing, she looks down at the rug and plates*

They're missing a few chocolates, but I guess if it''s romantic enough they'll share.

*But candles are pretty and romantic! At least she didn't try setting up a log fire on deck*

Well... *Selphie pauses, not really sure what to say now* Feel..better after that?

Why does it have to be romantic?

[Ikki almost rolls his eyes at that comment. He pauses briefly at her last question though, honestly... He doesn't think he feels any different, nor better nor worse, then again if he could feel better with something so simple he wouldn't have the issues he has in general.]

They say that friends can know how each other feel without being told, since you insist on being that to me, I will let you decide on that yourself.

[The only way he could have given her the answer she wanted would have been by lying and Ikki prefers to not do that. Instead he tries to make it vague, because after all there's no better nor worse which is good by itself somehow.]

Well why not? It is candles and flowera and chocolates after all!

*That was far from being the kind of answer that she wanted or expected. And when brings up the friend thing, she freezes for a moment, wondering if all he's really doing is mocking her. She just doesn't know what to think. From seemingly tender a moment ago, to suggesting that he maybe he couldn't care less.. It hurt her head, confusing her. But she refuses to let him make her feel glum, and she grins regardless*

Right, then I bet you've just had the best evening you've had in ages. And you're brimming with happiness too! Friends know this stuff, right?

And all that makes it romantic automatically? I'll try to keep it in mind for future reference.

[He snorts lightly at her answer and smiles faintly, far from it, but if he compares it to specific times... Maybe he can see it on that angle so he nods when he looks at her.]

Right. Let's go with that then, thank you, Selphie. Sleep well.

[He doesn't wait much longer before he starts to retreat to below the deck.]

*Despite her cheerfulness and a quick wink, Selphie is rather sure that it's not like he'll be throwing hinself into romantic situations any time soon*
