That sort of comment was one rarely received from other ninja, only civilians or others that were unaware of how little age could matter when determining how dangerous certain ninja could be. It didn't bother Itachi, as he'd heard it many times before. Only those of his own village would respect the title of captain when it was given to a thirteen year old.

He would not argue about being called a pirate despite not having picked the status out for himself. The man's ignorance wasn't important to the situation at hand. Though their captive was also lucky Itachi wasn't a petty sort, as he didn't like the idea of his brother being referred to as 'trash'.

It was true that Itachi's genjutsu could be more subtle than Sasuke's, but he was just as capable of performing basic scare tactics that didn't even require the use of his Mangekyo. He did this then, red eyes seeming to glow brighter even as his silhouette faded further into the shadows. The man's heartbeat would seem louder, his breath harder to come by. The flutter of crow's wings and caws from the rafters of what should have been an otherwise empty house add to the effect. There is just a moment of this before everything is normal again.

He would be receiving no help from that end.
