[He tugs at his blanket a bit but Lea just looks so cold. He looks between them for a moment before peeling it off his shoulders and putting it around Lea's instead.]
Here. I'm okay!
[He's lying.]
no subject
[He's exactly moving to give the blanket back, though. It hardly does anything to warm him, but "hardly anything" is better than nothing.]
no subject
[His teeth chatter just a touch.]
no subject
[He pulls it tighter around his shoulders and hopes Roxas doesn't take him at his word on that one.]
no subject
[He'll just wrap his bare arms around himself, and it'll be okay.]
no subject
Stupid. Come here and we'll share.
[He shifts how he's sitting to make room and holds out one side of the blanket.]
no subject
[Roxas is happy to share with Lea and he curls into the blanket, pressing up against him.]
I don't know why it's so cold. I'm not used to this.
no subject
It's gotta be a magic spell of some sort. Winter weather shouldn't be knocking me out like this.
[But suddenly, inexplicably, he feels a little bit of warmth, as if having Roxas with him like this is releasing the icy grip of the cold on him. He smiles wryly. How appropriate, huh? This is what Roxas always does to him.]
no subject
[Roxas lets him get close and leans against him contently, leeching the heat he's providing that is somehow getting rid of the cold for him.]
I think sharing was your best idea yet.
no subject
[If he sounds distracted, it's because he kind of is. He's snatched Roxas up to muss up his hair or jostle him around a bit, but he's never let him close like this. He sneaks a glance at him, wanting to see his face. Should he be encouraging this?]

Somehow he manages to find his voice again.]
So tell me about all these people you met.
no subject
Let me think. I went on the other boat and a I saw the talking pony again, and a strange guy wanted to share my blanket, but he was pretty cool, he told me about snow people!
no subject
[Strange guys had better not be sharing Roxas' blanket. He's going to have to find out who that was.]
no subject
[The bits he remembers in detail are just fascinating. Really.]
no subject
[He shakes him a little, since he's not going to let go to shove him like he usually would.]
You have to be alive to have a heart.
no subject
[Roxas nods, accepting this.]
I see. I met some other people. I met a guy that set himself on fire! That was cool.
no subject
[And Lea plans on foisting all of his off on Roxas, but he's not going to tell him that.]
no subject
[Doing the same job all the time is monotonous and boring.]
no subject
I hope not. He says it's just until he figures out what we're good at, but I think it's just because he doesn't want to think about it too much. Saïx would give you boring stuff to do just because he could.
[Being a no-fun killjoy was one of Isa's many hobbies.]
no subject
[A little bit of Sora's optimism at play here.]
Um, what else...oh! I think I saw some other people too. I don't know. Everyone seems pretty nice. Are heart-people always this nice?
no subject
[They really are lucky. He's a bit relieved that Roxas has found people to talk to. Maybe it'll expand his horizons a little bit. For that matter, he should probably start talking to people himself. He used to be the type to just walk up to someone and declare himself their friend. What the hell happened to that kid?
Well, he knows what happened. Still...]

no subject
[He knows nothing he says is going to convince Roxas of that. He's just going to have to experience it for himself, as much as Lea hates to see something like that happen to him.]
Don't start asking questions about good and evil, kid. That's even more complicated than the whole babies thing.
no subject
[He lets it drop for now and snuggles up to Lea with a content sigh. It's so warm when he's with him, way better than the stupid cold all over the boat.]
Met lots of people, just like you said.
