Huh. [Odd. He'll have to keep an eye on that. Poor captain. He wondered what was up with the kid.]

We'll just have to make sure he doesn't walk over board. [he shook his head at that.]

I'm sure someone is usually up keeping watch. Anyhow it was strange, but it made the cold go away, at least. It was easier to keep sleeping.

Sounds normal. Body heat shared between two people tends to help. [A pause. This was important thought...] Does cold normally effect you like this?

Granted, I've never been a vampire in the middle of winter before, but prior to that, I didn't find weather affected me either way. This coat has big pockets, it's pretty useful that way and what I was running around doing, it suited its purpose.

Habit, maybe. It was almost winter when I came here. November. But time here flows differently.

I don't get cold often, so this is different. I don't think any coats would cover this.

No, the coats are completely useless, but standing close to you should help, give you a little relief at least. I mean, I'm not gonna stand here all day or anything, but...
