[Since physical contact does help the cold a bit, he's content to pull his hood back (raising the question of how he keeps all of his hair in there) before leaning over Roxas and giving him a Look.]

Because the last thing I need is you getting drunk and doing something dumb.

[That said, he addresses Selphie next.]

Sorry. I could just see where that one was going.

*She blinks from Roxas to the new guy, raising a brow and tilting her head at him. But she does notice that his hair is indeed rather nice*

That's...okay. But I wouldn't have let him get drunk, don't worry! I'm very sensible.

*Because she can say that to knew people- they don't know any better. She smiles and holds a hand out to him*

I'm Selphie! Nice to meet ya!

[Roxas tries to take the bottle back then. He's not sure if he's going to like it, but that's beside the point.]

[Lea snatches the bottle up with one hand and shakes Selphie's hand with the other.]

The name's Lea. Got it-- No, you can't have it!

[Roxas' grabby hands have thwarted his catchphrase. For a second, he doesn't even know how to continue the conversation.]

Um...ahem. Well, I'm a pretty sensible guy and he doesn't listen to me all the time, either.

*Selphie looks alarmed when Roxas grabs the bottle, rising up out of her seat to take it from him, but Lea gets there first, so she sits back down. Sighing a little, she smiles*

Nice to meet you, Lea. You got the babysitting job, huh?

He's not babysitting me! You don't have to talk about me like I'm not here.

[Lea clonks Roxas lightly on the head with the bottle.]

So get a little taller so we don't have to talk over your head, shortie.

[With that, he reaches over Roxas' head to hold the bottle out to Selphie.]

Roxas is my best friend. I've been keeping an eye on him his whole life.

*Selphie winces slightly when Roxas is touched on the head with the bottle, and she's happy to take it from Lea. When she does, she looks for the cap on the table and screws it back on*

Aww - that's really cute! You must be the other 'straggler' Riku was talking about!

Hmph. [Lea can enjoy a good shove for that remark.]

I guess so. Axel's always around. It's good he's my best friend!

Lea. It's Lea now and I know you just heard me tell her that. She probably even has it memorized.

Sorry, Selphie. It's a name I used to go by and I'm starting to think he brings it up just to be a pest. I'll spare you the particulars because we'd be here the rest of our lives hashing them out and we'll all need that rum.

*Something seems to click with Selphie and she looks between them both*

O-oh... So when you were talking about Lea and Axel before, you actually just meant the same person?

*She raises a brow expectantly, hoping she'd got that right. It was all quite confusing*

Heh. Don't worry about it! But you're Lea, not Axel, but that's the same thing, but you prefer to be called Lea. That basically it?

[Roxas nods and pats Lea on the arm.]

Lea, Axel, same thing. He's my best friend, that's all that's important.

[He waves his hands in frustration.]

*She snaps a salute towards them both, then nods her head and grins*
