Everyone on this island is a peeping tom
Who: The crew of the Straw Hat Pirates, and the remaining Spade Pirates
Where: Aeolipile Isle
When: January 11th
What: Logan may be just a tiny bit evil.
Warnings: People being jerks to the sea life.
Style: Any
Status: Closed
[Time on Aeolipile Isle has been great. The hot springs are soothing, the citizens are kind, and the whole town is filled with neat little steam-powered knickknacks. Keimi had been enjoying herself so much that she had hardly considered leaving. She was sad to know that the Spade Pirates were shoving off, but she had already made plans with some of the crew to meet again sometime soon.
It was early in the morning, and the young mermaid was just rousing from her sleep. She had so many plans for the day. She would take a dip in the hot springs, then visit the market to stock up on supplies. Maybe if she was lucky, she would find a nice souvenir to remind her of her time here. But before any of that, she needed a bath. It was important for her to bathe regularly, as it not only gave her the opportunity to clean herself, but it kept her hydrated as well. All this time living on land can do terrible things to a person used to living in the water.
As she stripped down, she quietly thanked that while the hot springs were public, the baths were not. She marveled at how quickly the water heated up. It wasn't hard to imagine that the baths, like the rest of the island, were powered by steam in some way. She settled into the water and went right to selecting from a collection of fruity soaps.]

[Logan isn't waiting for anyone to get clear. He's moving now. Charging forward with a yell, claws out and slicing through pipes. Shooting steam into the room again. This facility is going to be ruined.]
[When he comes at Zoro, it's a bit more wild then the other day. Less thought put to it, more threat intended. Claws going right for the swords. If he can trap the two in one claw, he can take a unblocked stab, though he recalls Zoro is fast. It wont be that easy.]
no subject
He remembers Logan's strength. He doesn't care if he gets clawed up, but he's going to do everything to stymie him, knock the claws away, and press the attack]
no subject
[He fights wild, not caring where the swords are as he slashes in an arc at the man. He's ignoring the fish girl now. He'll get her when he's done here.]
[This could be a long battle in here. Getting outside might be easier. More space to sneak around on him.]
no subject
Yet? Before he can follow his flying slash with another attack, his foot skids on a puddle on the floor, and he ends up sprawled like an idiot on his back. Damn!]
no subject
[Only to see the Swordsmen hit the ground.]
[There is a dark little HA that came from him as he started to move forward, footing slipping out form under him enough to knock his feet down, hands hitting the ground and moving about three large steps like a wolf. seriously guys, this spot isn't the best for battle.]

He gets up with swords at the defense only to see his opponent having trouble as well, so he takes advantage of the brief moment available to him to draw Wadou Ichimonji and clench it in his teeth. From this position, he winds up with arms curled tight and unleashes a 108-Pound Cannon more or less in Logan's direction - but more importantly, at the wall. If it hits his foe, excellent, but either way, there is about to be a massive hole in the wall through which both of them can escape and reposition. Zoro's senses lock onto Logan immediately, prepared to give chase if he tries to flee]

[Zoro might lose track of the raged man a moment as the building dropped in front of him, and on him.]
[...]

I know you're not that weak. Come out! We're going to settle this the right way.
no subject
[The moment he throw it however, he went running after it, claws going for the swordsman. If he hits, the force will knock the two of them out that hole in the building and outside, if not, well, they'll be back to swinging.]

He lunged to meet the coming attack with a flurry of sword strikes, intending to keep Logan moving. If only he could get an opening, but how do you do that on someone who literally cannot be disarmed?
...unless he could cut a hand off...]
no subject
[He took to the sword strikes, a flurry of claws and swords, of mad growls from his side. If Zoro tried to take the hand he would be surprised. He could slide through the flesh of his hand, but he'd run into a metal so strong it couldn't be cut with anything other then it's own kind.]
no subject
How is that possible? Are they not steel or something? He hadn't noticed it before because he hadn't been trying to cut the weapons themselves. Well, now he had a problem. Subduing Logan was going to be a challenge, after all. But that just made him grin darkly, biting down hard on the sword in his teeth. Bring it on!]

[When the other backed off, he paused for a moment, taking a breath and growling off at the other man. He took a defensive stance a moment, eyeing the swordsman, seeing that dark grin around the sword. He liked the three sword style. It was different. He didn't know why he wanted to destroy it, other then he needed to. That Jean wanted him too. Only it wasn't Jean, and that thought made him sick and angry then as well.]
[Flexing his hands he looked more annoyed them a moment before, shifting to move forward, charging after the green haired one.]
Stop. Running! [he said through clinched teeth, trying to take a swipe where the man had been standing. Close range fighting was an issue when the fighter you are fighting with has longer range then you. Still, he was used to that kind of thing. He over compensated by moving a bit faster.]
[If Zoro wants to go for a hand, he can. If he can get a sword into the mans chest, he can. If he can find the right place to strike. So far he had taken some nicks and scratches, but nothing to slow him down yet. He had noticed, by smell mostly, that this fight was taking them closer to the shore and waters edge.]

[strategic movements, that's all they are. Zoro circled, charged, repositioned, trying to find or force an opening somewhere. Those claws were always in his way, and now and again Logan was just fast enough to get past his reach and rake him down the arm or across the shoulder. The one thing Zoro refused to allow was a strike to his back. He always kept his foe in sight, or within the range of his senses on his blind side, and sacrificed hits in other places in order to always stay evenly-matched. When Logan got too close, he swung two swords straight up in a Flash, trying to put distance between them so he could make use of his longer reach. Damn claw guy, always coming right back at him.
The fight was going on too long, and even Zoro's stupid level of strength was not infinite. He was getting frustrated, he didn't even have a moment's pause to sheath his swords for a powerful iai. He couldn't even stop to put his bandanna on, though his honor raged for him to do so. He just kept fighting, not wanting to stop.]
no subject
[God damn his head felt messed up.]
[The fight was fast, because he wouldn't give the man a moment to breath. Keep him on his toes. Don't let him pause. Do it fast. Make this hard. He needed to... to.... to stop--no, SHE needed him to finish this.]
[Claws flew and he was breathing heavy enough (still hurting from before), swords and blades crossing, blocking, slashing. He didn't care if he got cut. He needed this to hurt everyone (it was going to hurt him...). It was the longer reach that was getting him, and by time he took a slashing cut across his arm he growled, drawing back a bit more, hand flexing. Damn this slow heal bullshit. It should be mended already.]
Fight like you're willing to kill, boy. [insults. That should make this better, yeah...]

[when they disengaged, even for the briefest moment, Zoro twisted his body into a Tora Gari, snapping the swords from shoulder to ground in a hard thrust that should push them even further apart. There, now he had enough room to yank the black bandanna from his arm and tie it tight around his head. He was beyond serious.]
If you want to die so badly, then I'll be glad to oblige you.
[he charged straight for it again, foregoing big moves for a lot of small slashes, pressing through the trees toward the shore. He sacrificed defense for offense, but at this rate, he needed to. Hit harder, faster, force an opening. Somehow get the claws away from Logan's vitals. His good eye focused on the claws while his senses felt out for any chance of a stumble or misstep. Come on!]
(swear i replied to this...)
[They battle hard, pushing back towards shore and water front. Logan barely notices. I knows he doesn't want to do this, he knows he needs to. He fights wild, leaving an opening to his left side from time to time. A sword could sink in and stop him in his tracks if Zoro was able to. He did the slash often, swinging high leaving that side open.]
[As they fought, he smelled it, the edge of water coming up. He didn't want to leave. He wanted to kill this guy--He wanted to dive into the water and take off. Not to be a coward, but because he didn't want to kill this guy. He's fighting two battles here.]

[When the opening was taken he jerked, coming to a stop as both hands blocked other swords. He could feel the blade sink in and through. It's not the first time. He knows this feeling well enough. It wasn't long before coming here that he had taken a few swords to his body, sunk in and a normal death blow. For Logan he growled. He could tell the blade hit bone by the vibration of his body. Zoro would maybe realize that the claws aren't the only things indestructible.]
[He paused there, teeth clenched, glaring at the other. A hard breath a moment, not drawing back yet, but he could feel the blood in the back of his mouth. Nice shot. That should... be healing already, though it's not.]
no subject
...what the hell are you made of?
[as he pulls back, he's wide open, his head and neck twisted so he can hold the block with the sword in his teeth]
no subject
[He hated to run, but she needed him alive. he could feel the wound in his side ache, bleed. It was a good shot. It was mending but... shit.] A stronger metal then you. [he growled out as he moved, claws sliding into the blocking swords, he jumped, drawing both feet up to try and kick square into the guy. IF he plants that landing he's going to not only kick him but shove off, turning to run for the edge. Time to go. SHE still has things he needs to do. If he wont heal properly, he has to step out of this fight.]

[By time he got to the ledge, he turned, ready to take a swing if the other was too close. If Zoro tried to slash at him though, he was going to leap over. Off the ledge and into the water below, barely missing rocks. If Zoro does manage to hit him with that Oni Giri, he’s going out into the great blue anyhow. So either way, this was his escape.]

But then, Zoro's logic didn't always line up with reality]
