I can't argue with that, however here I'm the one that's different and I think it's annoying people. Last time I apologized, Ace put a bucket of water over my head and told me to knock it off.

I'm not sure. If Celestia is right and time has stopped and I will go back to when I came from then I still have my mission. Then again, I suppose I have no right to complain about that, but with everything I don't really want to die anymore. I still haven't come up with an alternative though.

[Aya can agree with that. If time does stop, then they were back to square one. Would they even remember what went on here? What if Yuuki improves, only to forget everything upon returning? Or if they were sent back to a later point in time. It's frustrating to think about without definite answers.]

There are things that are unfinished back home, and if they're on hold, then I don't need to worry about one thing. However, where does that leave the others at home? What are they doing while we're gone?

I don't know. I figured time was continuing and hopefully they completed the mission. I'd go back to...I don't know what I'd be going back to. I think about home all the time. I had a role to play and I don't know, but I can hope, that they managed without my help.

[A wave of sadness flushes through him and he shakes his head a little, to banish it.]

It isn't like that, it just might be more difficult then if I was able to help. Especially now that I know more about how being a vampire works.

My statement still stands. There is the worry of whether or not we remember what we learned here if we get sent back home.

Hypothetically speaking, say time isn't frozen. I can assume that Ozaki-sensei went ahead with plans, because believe me, waiting is a death sentence. I don't know what I would go back to. If we won, it spells death for me all the same. For safety's sake. If they won, Tatsumi would kill me, without question. If the humans did allow me to continue to live out my life, I don't know where I'd go. I can't go home, it's...it isn't good for my dad to have me around.

[He leans back on his hands a bit, looking contemplative.]

If time isn't frozen and I go home, if I forget everything here then it will mean I will still kill myself. It was the plan at any rate. Kill myself and take Tatsumi with me. Say I came up with some other plan, there's no guarantee that anyone would allow me to live. Most of my work was finished by the time I came here...it's hard to say.

[Listening carefully, Aya really couldn't find a break for Yuuki within his thoughts. It seems like things look dark for him either way.]

You'll probably have to end up choosing what's best in the end. [It's a lot to deal with, especially if the vampires are really strong.]

Now that I've...hunted, I can say I'd rather not have to do that for the rest of my life. I'm not very comfortable with it.

[That's the problem, vampires are stronger than humans, and Tatsumi is something else altogether.]

Thatch made a good point that weakening the crew before going into a fight is a bad idea. I bit two people at the last island...two unwilling people. I don't recommend it.
