Since the business with the witch, the Shepherd has been docked in Isle Impieze, as they work to sort out the repercussions of these events.

[And she doesn't look up, not seeming surprised at all.]

Hey, Jaune.

[She's gotten on the ship just before the assault on the fortress, and had noticed Jaune when he joined, but had hung back, wanting to surprise him later.]

[The sudden bout of seasickness put an end to her grand plans, though, and now she just stares miserably down at the ocean.]

[...Well, okay, so she isn't really that sick, but it's fun to exaggerate!]

[is she okay?! he doesn't know she's exaggerating either. jaune turns to her, kneeling down beside her even.]

Y...you gonna be okay?

[DON'T BE SICK.]

[She flops dramatically to rest her head on the railing, arms dangling off the sides.]

I don't think so. I can't believe this...

Y-you gotta keep it together!

[JAUNE IS WORRIED ;A;]

Don't fall apart on me!

[And she groans theatrically.]

I don't think I can make it... Jaune, you'll take care of me, won't you? You'll have to protect me and it'd be pretty helpful if we could share our items and stuff...

[By which she means 'Jaune you'll give me all your stuff won't you?']

I can do that!

[he stands up.] Yeah, I can totally do that! We can share!

[Hook, line, and sinker! She perks up immediately, going to try and twine herself around Jaune.]

My hero! My prince!

Wha-...?! Hey wait!

[WHAT IS THIS?! wasn't she sick just a few moments ago?!]

I thought you were seriously ill!

[Oh, uh, whoops! She lets go, deflating immediately, her shoulders slumping.]

I was, but...

[Perking up again!] You made me all better!

Did I really...?!

[he pauses....

....

OH WELL! he just smiles at that, laughing along with her.]

Yeah you're right, I guess I did!

[Yay, he's laughing along! Anise laughs too, smiling brightly again.]

So, you're part of the crew now, huh?

Huh? Oh!

[right right, he is!]

I am! Yuuup, gonna be riding with you now and all that. Someone I know from back home joined up too. If you see a girl with white hair that looks kinda grumpy, that's my friend Weiss.

Hey, I think I spoke with her over the journals!

[And...she had been kind of rude since she thought Weiss was all snooty. Huh. Maybe she should tone it down if Jaune is close to her...]

So, are the two of you friends?

Uh.... I think so? Yeah! Yeah we're friends!

[kind of.]

She's sure... interesting.

[She sure is convinced about the strength of your friendship, Jaune.]

Is she some sort of princess? She kinda reminds me of someone I know.

Naahhh nothing like that. She's an heiress, pretty sure. Her family is some big.... biiig big deal where I'm from.

[so yeah, she's kind of a princess int hat sense.]

[It's not exactly specific, but it's enough to give Anise a good picture.]

So are you her knight or something?

Wha-!

[JAUNE NEARLY FALLS OVER AT THAT- but he corrects himself, scratching the back of his head and laughing.]
