"Love me?" Roxas blinks at her a few times. "I never really thought about it."

He barely can sort out his own feelings, let alone someone else's. "Yeah, because Axel- I mean, Lea is always hiding stuff from me and when he does that it makes me mad and I don't like it. Feelings are really confusing. I never thought he'd stop being my best friend though!"

Knots, it was like he was tied up in knots.

"Roxas, it doesn't matter who you are, what you are, how old you are... feelings will always be confusing. Even for me, and I have a million different kinds of feelings all over the place!" Her smile becomes a little more lopsided now. "But you know what? I don't think he'd ever stop being your best friend either." She bites her tongue, careful of what she says about Ikki in front of him.

"Really? Hmm.." That's pretty interesting. Roxas scratches his head a bit and he brightens. "Well I...I hope not. I can be more careful!...Maybe."

He always seems to just believe what people tell him, without questioning it. Roxas isn't sure, but probably it's the kind of thing he has to ask Lea. It always seems to come back to that, doesn't it?

[booyaka_boom]

"Yeah... Sadly, so. But hey, it's part of what makes life so interesting, right?" She smiles as he brightens up and nods her head in reassurance, though she can't help but wonder what the hell Ikki has been telling him. "Being careful isn't always a bad thing, I guess. But yeah, you guys are friends forever for sure, I can tell!"

Not that she'd ever seen the two together, but she could tell from how Roxas spoke about Lea that he was good to him.

Lea was exceptionally good to Roxas, and deserves full credit for it. Roxas just smiles though and shrugs. "Well if he tries to leave me behind, I'll just have to go drag him back, right?"

It's their deal, and it shouldn't be just one way. Besides, Roxas knows he can take on Lea when he has to.

"What else do you do for this holiday?"

"Exactly! And that's love! Where you'll follow a person no matter what!"

She smiles and tilts her head somewhat as she thinks, "Well..People who are..romantically in love, they can go on dates, like for dinner, or something special like that. Sometimes they give gifts too, to show how much they mean to each other. Valentine's is more...important if you have someone that you love in that way, I think."

He seems to be mulling it over. "What's the difference?"

"You mean betweeen that and like you and Lea?" Cause she's assuming that that's not romantic. She thinks about using Riku and Yuuki as an example, but she's not sure if Roxas knows about that. "Well, it's like loving your friend but..it hurts more, I think.. And, you want to be beside them all the time... And loads more hugs than you get with your friends. Kisses too, even."

Roxas nods at her question and scratches his head.

"I don't know how it could hurt more. It's pretty painful like it is." He grumbles a little. He's trying to think back to what it felt like when he was numb and he can't do it. He's been like this awhile, feelings intense and uncontrolled at times.

"I like hugs though." He thinks about it some more. He doesn't feel the need to be beside Lea right now but that's because he'll see him later, after all they share a room.

"Hmm... I just know that it can hurt a real lot..." At least so far it had hurt more than she might have imagined it would. "But sure, hugs are always good. You can come get hugs from me anytime!" And at least she seems to brighten at this.

"Yeah, okay! They are good, yeah. Lea hugged me first though." Roxas grins at her.

"And I bet it was a real good hug too! How many other people in the crew have you hugged? I bet you're pretty popular!"

After all, there were times she really couldn't resist hugging him.

"Hmmm..."

Now Roxas has to think about that. He hugged Lea, a few times. Selphie hugs him from time to time and he's always cuddling onto Xifer. He did hug Riku once, but that's not a mistake he'd make again.

"Three people, I think. And Xifer. He's the nice blue bird. He's the best! I found out he doesn't have an owner though, but that's okay, I'll look after him!"

Sometimes. When he sees Marco.

"Three, huh? They're sure a tricky crew when it comes to hugs. I'm serious, but I have to go actually asking for them sometimes."

Selphie laughs gently at the mention of the bird, "You know there are two on board, right? Two blue birds. But one is...much prettier than the other." If he means the turkey, okay. But if he means Marco...that's plenty amusing. "I bet he'll like getting looked after, either way."

"It's okay, I don't have to hug people, it's just nice I guess."

Roxas nods a few times. "I know, he's really smart. He found the sunflower seeds in the cupboard before, and I showed him how to ride on one foot on my skateboard!"

Knowing what she does about Roxas' pet bird, Selphie's laughter is especially loud, but she's just so amused by everything, rather than laughing at him. "Hmm. He sure does sound like a clever bird! I'd like to see him on your skateboard sometime!"

Roxas nods enthusiastically with a big grin.

"He's really good, he picked it up right away and then I was pushing him around the deck! It was pretty great, he's really good at balancing. Then he was on my shoulder and I did some tricks for him. It was really fun!"
