The point is that Kyouya really shouldn't just humour him when Hikaru asks for something, because a month later he's apparently going to find a way to get it.

His loses the smug look and turns to a more childishly hopeful look instead; eyes wide and earnest, shoulders brought forward, indicating his good will with his entire body. He knows his twin will see through the act right away, but dammit he wants to keep his new pet.
"Just touch him!" Hikaru's sure that once Kaoru actually interacts with the dragon, he'll come around. "It's a real life actual dragon, Kaoru! How cool is that?!"
