That could be some really good fun! But pretty dangerous too, ya know.

*She winks at him and smiles back*

Yeah. But, only a little one. I don't want you thinking that I was totally defeated or anything.

I guess it could be dangerous, but you might get better too.

He-ey! My magic skills are awesome! Sure, everyone can get better, but they're great, okay?

I can't say if they are or not, I don't know much about them.

[Roxas shrugs a little bit. He smiles though.]

Do you fight a lot?

*Pout, pout, but she eventually smiles back*

Yeah. I do. It's kinda my job. But magic is my strong point. My serious, serious strong point.

*Making a beeline for the refreshments table here. She needs some lemonade*

Oh, I uh, kind of left. I was fighting with Axel about...something. I can't really remember the details. He was keeping things from me and then I forgot most of the day I left, but yeah. I wouldn't go back. I'm not sure why but I don't think Kingdom Hearts is a good thing.

[He tilts his head.]

Also, Namine said I was one of the bad guys.

Oh... Kingdom Hearts? Is that where you used to live?

*Though she was smiling at first, it turns into a gentle frown*

A bad guy? Why?

Nope! I lived in a castle with Organization XIII. Kingdom Hearts is what we were doing. The Heartless would take people's hearts, and I would hit them with the keyblade and we would send the hearts to join together in Kingdom Hearts so we could get our own hearts. It's bad because...well, I'm not sure. Namine said the Organization is bad, and I remember wanting to destroy Kingdom Hearts...but there's a lot missing up in my head.

Oh, like the name of the operation or whatever? *Because Selphie is used to doing missions with code name*

Hmm... Do you think you're bad, Roxas? *This Namine sure seemed to have a lot to answer for*

[Roxas shakes his head.]

No, that's the name of the group. We were thirteen Nobodies. I was number thirteen and Axel was eight. I don't think my missions had a name.

[Technically, Roxas is his codename, isn't it. That, or 'The Key of Destiny'. It's very confusing.]

I don't really know. I'm not entirely sure why I walked away. I could be bad. I did bad things. I joined Organization XIII when I turned up in Twilight Town that first day, looking for answers I guess.

You guys have way too many codenames.

*But she smiles and shrugs lightly anyway*

Well, everyone's done bad things. I don't think I've met anyone who hasn't... But, why would you worry about things that happened that you don't remember? Memories are only worth it if you can remember them and learn from them. Otherwise, I wouldn't stress about it too much. It can really, really hurt your head.

*As she knew too well. Even being here, people telling her that she knows them, that she grew up with them. And it physically hurt sometimes, not being able to remember*

I know, my head hurts sometimes when I think about things I don't remember. Or try to anyway. I guess I don't really worry about it.

[He tries not to anyway.]

*Selphie grins and pulls him into a gentle hug, patting him lightly on the head*

Don't you worry that cute head of yours, Roxas! Besides, you're making new memories now, so those are the most important ones.

[He wraps his arms around Selphie enthusiastically, grinning.]

*Selphie holds onto the hug a minute more, realising just how badly she's been needing one, but finally lets go*

[Roxas doesn't seem to mind being hugged though, he just grins.]

Yeah, it's good. I like it here. It's kind of like a vacation cause I worked a lot before for the Organization. I was supposed to disappear but I came here instead, which is pretty good.

That's true! I guess it kinda is...

*And Selphie, at least, was working on making this place feel more like a vacation than the grim reality it had been for her recently*

Yeah, I'm enjoying it. Don't worry about that!

[Things for Roxas, for the most part have been going pretty well, except when Lea is doing something dumb and worrying him.]

Good. I'm really glad.

*And she is glad, that being in this place hasn't been a horrible experience for everyone*

And when my bruises are better maybe we can spar again, and we can enjoy that too.

Sure, okay, if you want. I haven't sparred very much with people, I just kind of showed up knowing how to do this stuff.

[He picks up some lemonade himself now and chugs it down in one go.]

*She grins and pours her own cup, giving Roxas a refill too*

I beat Axel pretty good! I almost beat Riku too, I'm pretty strong. It's okay if people don't think so, then I can surprise them.
