Because healing magic only works so quickly, and she doesn't have any. So that? That is bad, bad, bad.]

We should be nearing an island called Himmelen soon. All I know is that they're supposed to have good beer.

[he doesn't really care about that these days, but it was important to Hawke and Isabela, and it might be important to her. Plus, it will give them all a chance to do some shopping.]

I'm guessing Isabela might have filled you in, though.

Beer, huh? I'll have to try a mug.

[And only a mug. She's not much of a drinker. Just a glass or two every so often. Usually when Varric and Isabela were involved.]

We'll have to see what they have for books.

Or even local knowledge. If we can get someone to talk to us? Never know. Local remedies might be good.

They might also make things worse. Not all local remedies can be trusted.

[And he likes books. This ship needs more of them.]

Honestly? I'd rather help you out now and have some fun later than have fun now and run into problems later when we're already in trouble.

[She doesn't know the other Hawke, but she knows Isabela.

Anders? Is much more her speed most of the time. Isabela can be fun, yes. Lots of fun. But she doesn't go at that pace with that kind of thing.]

...Granted, my luck? We'll still find trouble.

[he looks a little amused at that thought.]

I'm curious to see how similar the two of you are. Are we just going to be attacked by bandits, or is someone's royal son going to be involved?

Will there be a political fallout from your visit to the island?

[Anders just looks more amused, really. It seems no matter who Hawke is, that part won't change; and she's the third Hawke he's met now.]
