[The Grim Reaper beams at her, glad to see somebody approve of the change instead of staring at him like he grew a second head. Personally, he sees little reason not to be happy about it─ after all, he used to be so mean to everyone! Good thing he realized in time how awful his actions were.]
I'm not sure how to answer that, my dear. I just woke up feeling overwhelmed with joy! It finally dawned on me how much I have hurt this crew and everyone else with my unacceptable behavior. For that, you have my apologies.
[Another bow. Boy, he's gonna regret everything once this is over...]

I accept your apology, Mr. Ragna. However . . .
[She sensed blackmail material.]
I would like it in writing. You know, as a keepsake for my poor, little, doting heart.
[She clasped her hands and pressed them over her heart, smiling up at him sweetly.]
Would you do that for me so that I may have a token of you always?

But of course! I'll do anything for my beloved friend! Just say a word, my lady!
[On the subject of being overly forward...]
If you'd be so kind to accompany me in search of something to write on, Miss... [The man steps aside, making room for Kodachi to move with yet another bow.] Could you please tell me what exactly you'd like to request of me?

[She let out a blustery sigh. Well, had this been Nerima, she would've had a photo of him taken and developed ASAP. As it was, plain old parchment had to do.]
[She nodded and gestured for him to follow as she headed for the ship's quarters, where she kept a sheaf of parchment. Her undelievered letter to her brother taught her a few things.]
[Kodachi presented him with a blank sheet of paper.]
An apology for your past rudeness, and perhaps a few kind words of your new dedication to me, your wonderful friend.
[She sparkled at him.]

[He sniffles (... yes) and immediately follows her further into the ship. Once they reach their destination, Ragna obediently takes the writing utensils from her and salutes.]
Your wish is my command, my lady!
[The man quickly settles down and begins to write in a somewhat messy, but legible handwriting:
"Dear Miss Kodachi,
I wholeheartedly apologize for any and all of my words and actions that may have caused you to feel displeased, sad or angry. My life may not be enough to make amends, but I swear I shall do everything in my power to help you in the times of need, hoping this will at least allow you to forget the disappointment you must have felt during our previous encounters. You are truly dear to me, a friend among friends, and one of the most angelic beings whose presence I have been blessed with. I sincerely hope you fair well from now on, as a lady of your grace and class deserves nothing but pure happiness.
Signed,
Ragna the Bloodedge"
With that, he puts down the pen and hands the letter to Kodachi with a bright smile.]
There! Does it suit your tastes, my dear?

Oh! Mr. Ragna!
[She dabbed at her eyes with a white, lacy handkerchief.]
That's beautiful!
[The martial artist took his hands in hers and clasped them together as she stared up at him.]
Thank you.

Miss Kodachi... I'm so glad you like it! No need to thank me, really. It is a man's duty to sing a lady's praises, especially when a lady as lovely as yourself is concerned!
[Somebody put him out of his misery and kill him now.]
