At the question, Leo 'hmm' to himself a few times as he pondered.]
Le'ssh see... umm... 10... 11... ma'be 12... or was i' 13? I for'et. [Giggles]

[Insert mental face palm here. He was fifteen for arceus' sake! Who in their right mind would allow a minor to...oh right, Gan Ning...
Well...she didn't want to be the kill joy. Even if she knew this was horrible levels of wrong, she takes a mug from one of the tavern servers and takes a swig herself. It tasted horrible. But she knew she'll probably need it if she wanted to get through the night in one piece.]
Ok ok...how many fingers am I holding up?
[Please say 4...please please say 4...]

[He tried to count, but all three of Cynthia's hands kept being all blurry and wouldn't hold still. He tilted his head to try to count, but it didn't help.]
Ca,' tell, your ha'da whon't hol' shtill. All th'ee of 'em keep movin'. Han's ple'se shtop.
no subject
Leo, I'm pretty sure you've had enough for one night.

[And he leans off the wall as he says this, causing him to faceplant into the floor. He made an 'oof' noise, but otherwise just turned himself over onto his shell and laid there while smiling.]
See? I' good!
no subject
[She takes one of the cups from the table to take a whiff. Ok, even she knew water doesn't smell like THAT. Arceus what have these boys been giving him?!
Sighing, she offers her hand to help the poor turtle up.]
Get up Leo, you're embarrassing yourself.
no subject
[Still, he took the offered hand and let himself be helped up. But just as he let go of the hand once fully up, he nearly fell again and ended up grabbing Cynthia by the shoulders to keep himself upright.]
Hmm... my le's are being big mea'ies. Knock i' off le's!
[Glares at his feet]

There, now promise me you won't take out your swords tonight.
[Yeah, because who wouldn't want to have a sword fight while drunk?]
no subject
W'y woul' I? Hmm... I thou'h I had only 2 swo's. Why are the'e th'ee here?

O'ay Cyn'hia, I won' do any'hin' stu'id like Raphie wou'd. I p'omise.

[She kisses the top of his head then gets up. Cynthia has little faith that the servers would quickly get her a decent cup of water so she might as well get it herself.
This would also mean she'd be leaving the clearly drunk, minor alone...She was sure she could trust him.]

[When Cynthia walked off, Leo just sat and hummed to himself. He moved around in his chair a little bit, leaning it back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth...
Then he leaned it back a little too much. He tried to push back forward, and he did so... a little too much. So he crashed into the table, causing it and anything on it to fall over along with himself again face-planting the floor.
Whoops. So much for not doing anything stupid... or painful at that.]
no subject
Here, I got you some bread too. Finish it.
[She puts down a cup of water and a plate of bread in front of him, before wiping off the ale off her face.]
I swear, the things I do for you...
no subject
Hehe... sor'y. It 'as an ac'ident.
[He picked up the bread and munched on it, only stopping briefly to shove all the water from the glass down his throat before returning to the bread.]
no subject
[She pats the back of his shell lightly while he ate. Then realized there was one thing she needed to do before making sure thing were safe. She couldn't give a damn if he protested of not. Cynthia unstrapped his sword from his back and dropped them onto the table.
Better to put them somewhere where she could see them.]
How are you feeling?
no subject
[He gave Cynthia a glare when she unstrapped his swords. But he didn't make any move to stop her, just huffing a bit as he returned to eating the bread. When eh was done, he pushed the plate aside to lean his head on the table.]
Okay... kin'a tired...
no subject
Don't you use that tone on me. Listen, if you want, I can help you back to the ship so you could rest. But I'm going to have to come back here right after to pick up the other boys.
no subject
I ca't go, no' yet. I gotta ke'p an ey' on the gu's. Got'a keep Ra'h, Do'ie, and Mi'ey out of tro'le.

[After drinking the water, though he was still drunk, some of his brain cleared up. Enough that he could ponder a sentence. And even he could tell that he was rather... tipsy right now. Cynthia did seem more than capable of handling his little brothers.]
O'ay, I'll go ba'k to th' s'ip. Just... [Shakes his head to try to talk clearly] Just p'omise that you'll ma'e sure my b'others get back there safe and sound. O'ay?
no subject
[She gets up and takes his swords before he could even think to pick them up. Nope, still not trusting you with these.]
and no, protesting won't help you either.
no subject
Alrigh', I won' argue.
[He moved to stand, almost losing his balance before catching himself and straightening up the best he could. Why did he let himself get talked into drinking that weird water?]
no subject
[She takes his arm and guides it around her shoulder. Might as well help him want while she's at it. At least it was a good way to make sure he doesn't go wandering off or something.]
Listen Leo, next time the boys offer you water in a tavern. Don't take it.
no subject
No pro'lem. Ne'er aga'n.
[And when he was coherent in the morning, he was going to be scolding them all.]
