[So he might be a little late, but that can hardly be helped. New place means lots of new things to familiarize yourself with, not to mention see and possibly mark for later procuring.

It seems that the green brothers have already been introduced to the finer points of imbibing and by the time Gaius slips into the establishment. Having helped himself to a mug from a passing server's tray, the thief slides into an empty seat by the group, taking a sniff of the liquid before he sips it. Hm, not bad.]

[Ning doesn't seem to notice, except he does, through his laughter at the antics of the others. He leans over and ribs Gaius with an elbow to acknowledge his presence]

Heheh... [he leans in close to tell his secret] ...I've been switching out the turtle-boys' water with sake. Told 'em it was 'fragrant water' or some shit.

This place is really pretty isn't it? I've been meaning to take a look around the market. But researching on that volcano's been taking up most of my time.

So far? Found a little bakery that makes these cakes by boiling and steaming. Not too sweet, but they're not bad.

Well word on the street is, there are gems somewhere deep in the volcano. I couldn't find any written records of it and no one's bothered to map out the caves. But it does sound like something worth looking into.

As for those cakes, they sounds tasty. Can we get some before we leave?

[The blonde takes a quick look around the table. This would have been a good time to tell the boys she was planning to start this great voyage into the volcano to hunt for treasure. But after seeing the turtles break into dance on top of the table...well...]

Hmmm.... I'll say. It would definitely help if we could narrow the area to search down, at least.

Heh, that goes without saying though. I plan to see what all they have by way of sweets in this place and stock up before we leave.

[Following Cynthia's glance, Gaius arches a brow.]

I just need to find a map of the caverns, or at least someone who could tell me what to expect inside. The last thing I want is to drag you boys into some unstable magma chamber or something...Oh! And do tell me when you decide to go sweets shopping. You're not the only one who needs to stock up on sugar. Plus I'll be needing a few other things if I want to survive inside that volcano for a while.

[But something clicks in her when the other mentions sake. Well that definitely explains everything.]

Urgh sake? Seriously? I never liked the taste of it, but my grandfather used to love that stuff. You should try it.
