Creatures from my world. I have my team here with me. But I'd rather you meet them tomorrow when they're fully rested. They tend to get cranky when I wake them up. Especially the dragon.

One's a dragon? Wow, that means that we have two dragons on the ship now. But I understand, best to let them rest than make them get up when they don't want to.

Yeah, one of our crewmates Hiccup, who's a viking, has a dragon that he tamed named Toothless. He's really nice, although he did almost burn down the upper deck that one time...

Oh? Well I'm sure mine wouldn't attempt to burn down the ship. Though...I can't make any promises about a sudden meteor shower. But really what you should worry about the one that could mess with your dreams.

[She was a champion, she doesn't want to be modest about the strength of their pokemon. It wouldn't be fair to them. Plus she loves bragging about her babies.]

But you shouldn't worry about them. They only do things when I tell them to.

Don't worry about my pokemon. They may look like a rowdy bunch. But they'll always be on our side. Just...don't piss off the dragon.

I'm Cynthia, it's really nice to meet you Leo, and I'm really sorry I didn't bother to greet you guys when I first arrived here. After I was showed to my room and saw that I'd finally have a decent place to sleep, it was an automatic thing. I was so tired...

It's fine, I understand. It's best they you got properly rested once you had the chance anyways. We don't blame you at all for dozing off once you got here.

Yeeah, living in a cave for nearly a month can take a lot out of a person. This ship is a very welcome change from rocks and hunting for fish all day.

Heh, yeah I bet it would. Compared to where I live in my world, it's nicer on here. Although it still smells like the sewers on here...

Urgh, sewer smell, I totally get that. But it's nothing a good cleaning day won't fix. So where did you stay back in your world? A giant pond?

[She wasn't trying to offend, she was just legitimately curious.]

Well... in my world people don't like... the kind of guys that my brothers and I are. Giant mutant turtles with ninja weapons would freak a lot of them out. So the four of us and our father... well we live in an abandoned subway station in the sewers, so no one can find us.

You know what? That's exactly what I did when I first arrived here.

The people were too scared of a girl dressed in all black, who walked around with creatures they couldn't seem to understand. So instead of trying to understand who I was, they branded me a witch and I ended up living in a cave for a month. From there, I nearly lost hope.

[She gives the other a reassuring smile.]

Then I met you guys, and honestly? Human or not, you were the best thing to ever happen to me.

[That gets Leo to smile in relief. So far humans here had accepted them, which was a huge relief. One of the actual good things about this world.]

Heh, really? Well thanks, and I'm sorry that that happened to you. But at least things can be better now, right?

I'm sure they will. That whole witch thing is all in the past. Now I'm just happy to have others to talk to.

Good. [He then yawns.] Guess that's a sign that I better get to bed. [He gets up] It was nice talking to you Cynthia, glad to have you in the crew.
