A ship tossed about on the ocean
Who: The crew of the Alcyone
Where: The Stormy Sea!
When: The 21st
What: A raging storm at sea rocks the decks of the Alcyone. What is the crew to do?
Warnings: None. Just possible use of Frost and Spark Plasma
Style: Brackets or Prose. I'm sure we can adapt.
Status: Closed to the crew
Piers recognized the shift in the wind before the storm clouds appeared on the horizon, and he had a feeling that Sheba did too. Being connected to the elements themselves provided certain advantages-- unfortunately, the advantages only went so far.
He needed to warn the rest. Immediately.
They were in for a wild ride.
(Catch-all log for the storm. People can do as they wish ♥)

"Mm... s'goin' on?" he mumbled. "And is breakfast ready yet?"
just tags everything instead of starting another toplevel oops
She gestured out at the clouds with an expression that was equal parts concerned and frustrated. "We're in for some really bad weather. Wake up and let's try to get the ship ready for it!"
/and just jacks in like a jerk
"Calm down. The both of you. Losing your head so early could mean trouble for us later."
He patted Sheba on the shoulder, understanding her concerns entirely, and shook his head as he regarded the redhead.
"I'm sorry, Luke. Breakfast will have to wait for a while unless you don't mind working while you eat."
That meant getting the same hands you're using to eat your bread dirty by tieing down the sails, or holding it in your mouth and potentially losing it to the sea.
It was entirely your choice.

"You want me to work?" he asked, like it was some kind of foreign concept. "Doing what?"
And as much as he hated it, he'd rather wait for food. Lost food was a horrible travesty that needed to be avoided at all costs.
Brackets are lies!
On the Alcyone, Leo was mostly bored. Not that it was totally boring, and changing the lower deck of the ship around hadn't taken up that much time.
Which was what led to him sitting far, far up on the tallest mast, partially out of boredom, partially if he could see anything interesting. All there was were a bunch of clouds, but they were too far away to really tell what was going on with them.
Leaning out sideways as if it would help, Leo glanced down as a bolt slid from his pants pocket--scraps of something half created--and fell down, twisting through the air.
Hades. "Look out below!" It wouldn't kill anyon, but being hit in the head with a bolt would probably suck.

Thank god - the gods - whatever! - that Leo had shouted a warning, because Sheba was down on the deck and that definitely would have hurt. She looked up when he shouts and her eyes went wide, but in typical Adept fashion, she used Psynergy where just moving would have worked just as well - she never had been good at acting like a normal person, and she hadn't yet adjusted to Psynergy not being as easily replenished here.
With a wave of her hand and a low-level Whirlwind, the bolt was left hovering in the air long enough for her to reach out and grab it. She glanced up to the top of the mast and called out to Leo,
"Hey, is everything okay up there?" The weather was getting bad; she was attuned enough to the wind to be able to tell.
Oh ho~ TOTALLY
"Be more careful. People don't like getting hit with these little things!"
It was a friendly warning. He tossed the small bolt in the air and caught it in a silent demonstration, although he had a feeling that it was just an accident.

"Alright, children, I need someone to help start storing or tying down anything loose on deck."
