[She does manage to grab hold of his hand before he could leave. Gaius had already gotten up and left, and her pokemon were out on patrol. Cynthia was too proud too admit it, but she didn't want to be alone just yet. Not in her current state anyway.]

Could you help me lay back down? It's usually garchomp's job. But she's not here.

[he's not gentle, usually, but he'll try to be for her sake, turning back and leaning in to assist however she tells him to]

[She holds onto his arm for support and slowly lowers herself back into a laying position. Usually garchomp would cradle her and lower her down herself. But there was something about Gan Ning holding her close that was just...no. So she'd have to settle for the slightly more painful way of laying down.]

[at least his arms are strong, his chest brawny and secure. She can grope her way down him in order to get herself situated. Like he's going to complain.]

[Well hopefully she managed to hide a wince here and there. It's barely been twenty four hours so moving around, even a little, was a massive pain to her side (literally). But she didn't seem to want to let go of his arm.]
