[Pokes his head out of the men's cabin, sporting what has become a perpetual scowl over the last two days.]

What do you want? ...Also, who are you? Did Ning-dude send you? Are you new?

[Ah ha! There was one of them! Which one he didn't know, but it was still a success. Wan gave a quick wave.]

I'm Wan. I was sent by the human woman watching over Leo to find you two of his brothers and make sure they were okay. And yeah, I just got here not that long ago.

[Peers at him SUSPICIOUSLY.]

Watching over Leo? Man, does she think we can't do anything on our own? I'm fine, okay, this whole situation is just totally lame, that's all.

[raavashing]

He seemed to be sleeping. I think she just didn't want him to be disturbed.

[Wan tried to mitigate the obvious irritation the young turtle spirit had.]

I'm glad you're okay. Is your brother okay, too? She seemed concerned so I want to at least be able to tell her you both are fine.


...Which one are you?

[Snorts a little.]

Which brother? Donnie? Mikey? They're not down here, but they're probably fine. We can take care of ourselves.

[Maybe. Then again...it's Mikey. And he's little. Maybe Raph should go find him.]

I'm Raphael.

You and Mikey.

[Mikey was so much easier to say than Michelangelo.]

She said I could check with Don- Donnie.

[That was easier, too.]

If I was having trouble finding you. That you might be in his... lab? I don't know what that is, but I'm guessing it's a room of some sort.

His lab is where he does all his nerd stuff and invents things and probably daydreams about April.

[Rolls his eyes, making a slight face.]

It's further down the hall. So, you're hanging around, then? Are you on the crew now or something?

[Still partially hidden inside the men's cabin, mostly because being a kid is super lame and it sucks that he has to meet a new crew member like this and he'd kind of just like to disappear into his hammock until the whole thing passes.]

I just got here and the Captain said I could stay.

[Wan didn't try to peek into the room, he was satisfied with just talking to Raph and seeing his face. The woman had only asked him to check on the brothers, not invade their personal space.]

I'll go see if Donnie has seen Mikey. Thank you Ra-fi-el.

Welcome aboard, then. ...And you can just call me Raph, if it's easier. What kind of world are you from?

[raavashing]

Raph is a little easier. And I'm from a regular world, I guess?

[mostattitude]

Most people have heard the name Raphael before, that's all. He was a famous painter or something. ...Uh, if you're from Earth. I guess.

[raavashing]

The Earth Lion Turtle or the Earth Kingdom?

[mostattitude]

...Just Earth.

[Eyes him like he's a little crazy.]

Never heard of those other places, dude. Earth Lion Turtle??

[raavashing]

You're not from my world, then. And I'm not from yours.

[Wan gave a shrug.]

The Earth Lion Turtle is the Lion Turtle that can grant a human the power of earth. But they probably don't have any painters living on it's back named Ra-fi-el.

[Still staring a bit.]

The power of earth? What the heck does that even mean?

[raavashing]

You know... earth. Rocks, dirt. The power to control it and use it. Bolin and Korra called it earthbending. The Earth Lion Turtle is able to grant humans the power over the element of earth. The other Lion Turtles can do the same with the elements they're aligned with.

[mostattitude]

You can do that?

[That's a new one. Raph finally steps around the corner, looking kind of impressed and suddenly interested.]

That's like comic book stuff!

[raavashing]

Comic book stuff?

[Wow, he really is a little turtle spirit, isn't he?]

Whatever that is, I can't do it here. There's no earth to use close enough by to do it without-

[Using Raava's power and potentially causing his own death.]

There's just not any close enough by. I can still use fire, air, and water, though.

What about islands and stuff? Would you be able to control it there? Controlling fire sounds awesome, though. And there's definitely an endless supply of water.

[Points his thumb at his chest.]

I'm a ninja, I can do martial arts but I can't control the weather or whatever.

[raavashing]

Yeah. I could do it if I had earth closer to me. The stuff called gunpowder has earth in it, but attempting to control it is strange. It feels... hazy, for lack of a better word.

[Wan gave a nod, leaning against the wall and crossing his arms. Distracted now, by the conversation. He'd find Mikey soon enough, right? Right.]

Well, I can't really control the weather either. Nature as a whole is a lot more powerful than I am. I can do some smaller things, maybe create a small hurricane, but I can't control more than that. And I'm not even sure I can do that much here. A lot of my power is... it's like it's been drained from me. And it takes more effort. I've heard of ninja's though. One of the first people to talk to me through the books was a ninja. He had control of his chakras.
