My parents named me. But it's a normal naming convention in our tribe – they choose the worst names in order to scare off any gnomes or trolls that could potentially steal babies away.

Never? We're gonna have to fix that. If you ever see a black dragon walking around the ship, that's Toothless. Kinda hard to miss, really.

Um, well – he goes where he pleases. All of the guys sleep in one area down below, so Toothless stays there. And of course he has wings and breathes fire, that's what most dragons have. That's part of the reason why there's a big black circular mark on the deck...

–He's called that because his teeth were hidden away. All I saw were gums.

My friends made it here, too. But they ended up not remembering me at all.

He sort of ended up here first. It took a whole month just to get him back from the people who took care of him when I wasn't there.

[He then falls silent as she says this, some concern mixing into his puzzled expression.]

I know that I'm friends with all four of them. We met at a costume party a while back. But the turtles here... they don't know me at all.

And I believe that they're serious about it. So, yeah, that's been kinda weird for me.

They're still the turtles, and still my friends! Besides, I kind of like having them here. Makes it feel more... familiar, you know?

Not really. I mean, besides the turtles and all the things they do, and pirates trying to take over the world, things are actually pretty bland.

Nothing wrong with a few dull moments to past the time?? To be honest, I'm not so eager for anyone to take over the world.

Yeah, I can't say I'm a fan of it myself. It definitely threw a wrench in my plans last time it happened.
