[Well he's not a person, he's a turtle. Maybe turtles don't like puddles. But it was a puddle of chocolate.]

[Stares at him for a moment, then drops down off the branch with a flip so that he lands on his feet.]

Dude... Pretty sure anything that's alive has a heart.

Hmmm. [He seems to think that over.]

Well, I don't have a heart. I think I'm alive though. I'm not sure. Could I be not alive?

[Still staring.]

What, you a zombie or something? Wait, no, zombies aren't alive, just reanimated. ...Man, where's Donnie when you need him, he'd have a field day with this. Are you sure you don't have a heart?

Hmm, yep! Pretty sure, but some people think I might. I don't think they're right though. I'm a Nobody and Nobodies don't have hearts, it's kind of just how it is. I'm a thing that shouldn't exist...not a zombie, although when I came to be alive I was just like one.

[Wow. Just wow. This kid thinks so little of himself? Ralph almost feels bad for him. ...Maybe he'll shove him at Leo for a friendly pat on the back or something.

Not like that. I mean, like, literally not supposed to exist. Before I was Roxas, I was Sora. He's sailing with the Spades. Sora lost his heart and because of that, and when someone with a strong heart who loses it, someone like me is born. I'm Sora's Nobody. He's my Somebody. We're supposed to be the same person, only I'm him without his heart. Only, I had no memories, or anything to link me back to Sora. He kept everything. We exist separately even though we're not supposed to.

[He hums.]

Have you met Lea? Lea used to be a Nobody too. The normal kind. He remembered everything and he was named Axel. I knew him when he was a Nobody. All the Nobodies have an 'x' in their name. There's me and Axel, Larxene, Demyx, Saix...for example.

[He tilts his head, pausing for a breath.]

I'm good at fighting! So don't worry about that. I want to live, I just can't. Before I came here, I was supposed to be...joining with Sora.

[Man, that's a lot of words. Raph loses interest about halfway through and just starts nodding.]

...Uh-huh. Right, sure, blah blah lame TV show plot blah blah, got it. Geez, I gotta stop forgetting that other worlds out there are totally messed up.

[He holds his hands up over his head.]

Lea's the dude with the spiky red hair, right? Nah, haven't really talked to him yet. Guess I should probably get around to that.

Yeah he is! Spiky red hair and he's really tall. It's kind of annoying that he's so tall, but he's my best friend ever and he's the best. So you should be his friend too.
