A Morning Meeting
Who: Natsuno, Elissa, Sora, Riku
When: The morning after arrival
Where: Shipyard
What: Natsuno is interested in hiring Elissa for a job.
Warnings: Discussion of death/killing. Possibly more warnings to come.
Open or Closed: Closed, sorry.
Natsuno was waiting at the entrance to the shipyards, standing against a tree. His arms were crossed, he looked nonchalant. He was keeping his eyes open for a woman in blue armor.
Most notably about Natsuno, aside from his terrible taste in fashion, was the fact he was only sixteen years old. His eyes were darting around, keeping an eye open for anything out of place. He'd met Sora previously and had said he would go off with him, but this, this is what he had been waiting for.
Despite his outward appearance, he couldn't completely quell his nervousness. He swallowed a few times and waited for Elissa.

Well, whatever. Nothing had happened, maybe they could just move on from this.
Riku gave an annoyed sigh.
"Yeah, what Sora said. But fine, I told you not to judge us, so...I'll try not to judge you unfairly, either."
no subject
Crossing her wrists over her chest, the Grey Warden gave them both a slight bow from the waist. "Sora. Riku. Farewell."
... Sorry, it doesn't ever notify me when you reply, Elissa-mun. D:
"Alright... take care, Elissa." He offers her a polite wave of his hand, before looking down.
After Elissa leaves...
"Hey, Riku..."
Shifting slightly, he lets out a sigh and scratches the back of his head. Nope, he isn't going to let this go. He's going to make certain he does everything to help that guy. His voice is very serious, as he looks down.
"Later, I'm gonna meet with Natsuno, kay? I'm gonna... try to figure out a way to help him. Maybe talking one-on-one? Think... that's a bad idea? It'll be in a public place, of course... just..."
His voice drifts off and he sighs. This is the first time he's been almost at a loss for what to do. Helping people, for him, is just... something he does. It comes second nature to dive in--almost head-first--to make sure someone's alright. This is the first time he's ever felt so very in over his head, though. It's a little scary, really.

Sora was fully capable of handling himself, after all.
"If that's what you think you need to do. It's not a terrible idea, I guess."
Not necessarily a good one either, but eh...
no subject
Sora's brow furrowed in a sheepish way, before he scratched the back of his head, "It's just so maybe he won't feel... I dunno, ganged up on?"
Sighing, he puts a hand to his forehead. He probably has a good idea of what Riku is thinking--that this is possibly a dumb idea... a dangerous one, even. Sora is thinking the same thing, actually; but, his desire to save a friend slightly tips the logic scale. Maybe he should at least reassure his friend...
"I'll show you where I plan on asking him to meet me, and I'll have this on me." He pulls the magical talk-to-everyone-even-those-far-away... book out.
"If anything happens, I'll send you a message. ...Kay?"
no subject
"Alright," he said. "You'd better. I'll be keeping an eye on it."
He paused.
"And...an ear. I guess."
no subject
A couple of seconds later, he looks to the side and rubs the back of his neck. It's obvious Riku isn't okay with this, but is trying to be. A soft laugh escapes.
"Thanks, Riku."
And, change of subject.
"So, uh... where exactly where you, before you showed up?"
Not said in an irritated 'what the heck were you doing??' kind of way--he's just curious, after all. What was so interesting?
no subject
Riku jutted a thumb over his shoulder, back toward the direction he'd come from.
"I was checking out the ships. Figured that'd be a good idea since we're going to need one."
