[well apparently she had given him a little happiness just then because he grinned a bit after she kissed his cheek. His tail which was now more or less in her lap from her petting, curled a little further in a sort of hug around her waist. At the same time he put the arm behind her around her shoulders fully and kissed the side of her head]

Sometimes I can't believe how lucky I am you put up with me.

*Faye in turn seemed rather happy with this response, her hand gently caressing along his tail when it curled in close. And she smiled broadly when he kissed her head. It was ridiculous, she thought, how good being held like this felt to her. She chuckled and shook her head*

Put up with you? You mean, you're lucky you've found a girl who likes being treated very well with dates and spas and dinners, even one in her own room? Yeah, well, what a big surprise, huh? What woman wouldn't want that? I don't...'put up with you'. Is that what it feels like to you?

[he felt even happier when he saw her positive reaction to his tail and kiss, and hugged her a little closer. After she was finished talking, he shook his head a bit] honestly, I guess not. You do seem pretty happy with me and if you weren't, I'm sure Id know about it.

...I guess I'm just amazed. I mean yeah, I try to treat you well, but I have my downsides too... I get all moody and depressed sometimes [referring to the night after drinking with her and Kat obviously], and sometimes I accidentally say stuff that pisses you off because I'm socially retarded... I tempt you sometimes without going as far as you'd probably like...There's so many things I don't know much about that I've had to ask you.

[of course he was inclined to mention his fins and odd looks too but she'd already made it clear she was attracted to him so that was probably a bad idea. That left one final, but to Thash, rather strong reason she might not want to hang out with him...his love of blood. He didn't want to get into that right now, though]

But despite all that you still like me enough to not just be there when I need you but casually hang out and have fun with me... Part of me is just in shock that I have such a nice relationship with someone like you. It's awesome and I won't ever take it for granted.

*Faye listened to him, her finger idly drawing random shapes over his tail. When he was done talking, she looked at him for a moment, her eyes focused on his lips, but then she looked away again. He made things so difficult for her sometimes, so she made do by patting his thigh*

Alright, if we're going to play that game...

I lie, and I cheat, on a regular basis, and I like gambling a lot even if it gets me into trouble. I get really angry quite quickly sometimes when maybe I don't need to. I'm selfish, and materialistic - having the right things and wearing the right clothes is important to me. I guess that's vanity as well. I like the company of men. But with all of that, you still like to hang out with me.

And as for you - you get moody and depressed and it's a pain in the ass to get you out of. You're getting less socially retarded all the time, and you only ask questions because you've still got a lot to learn - it's better than sitting around and being an idiont. And yeah, you do tempt me with kisses and then just leave me on the bed like it was no big deal, and it drives me mad.

[he didn't look too concerned when she went over her own list of shortcomings...it was good she could admit she had faults, but most of them didn't bother him too much] Maybe you lie and cheat but at least you don't do that stuff to me anymore. Kinda like how Im violent but not towards you, so it's not a problem. The ways I get into trouble are worse than gambling...I do wish I could figure out what kind of things not to say to avoid angering you but hopefully that'll come gradually. I don't think you're very selfish, and wanting nice things is fine... It's not so bad to have someone to give stuff to who likes it. [he didn't comment on the company of men part. Sometimes it bothered him a little but he had no way of saying that without sounding selfish himself so he just tried to ignore it]

[he was mostly pleased with what she had to say about his issues. It was true, the depression thing was a pain in the tail, but it had been bothering him a lot less since he met her and he hoped it would continue to diminish. She was right that he was learning a lot, and her answering his questions had been a big part of that. He gave a small frown when she mentioned the tempting though... He had noticed her looking at his lips a moment ago. He looked at hers briefly before continuing, noting how soft they looked]

Yeah, sorry about that...I'm curious about something though. I know it's disappointing but I obviously won't be able to go as far as you'd like any time real soon....but in the meantime do you like it when I... Show you close affection and stuff? [he was referring to how he'd kissed her after the fireworks, lacking any better terms to describe it with] do you like that, even knowing it's going to stop short of what you really want...or would you rather I keep my hands and lips to myself to avoid tempting you and leaving you hanging?

[he thought that if he could at least satisfy her a little while getting more used to such contact with her himself and not feeling pressured to go too far, that would be great... But if it was only torture for her, then it wasn't fair for him to expect her to deal with that]

Hmm...

*Faye paused for a moment, leaning back against his arm while she tried to think of her answer. It was something she'd considered herself - maybe just keeping a distance because it was so frustrating. But then, she thought about the night of the fireworks often since it happened, and it had been just too good to say no to, even if she had been quite disappointed afterwards. Though, she would have to admit to herself, it was quite a nice disappointment. But then she thought that...maybe he just had no interest in kissing her, in being too intimate with her. And she'd think to the way he'd looked at her that night, and she wasn't so sure that was true. All in all, Faye was quite confused about something that so far had been straight forward in her life - sexual attraction, and getting what she wanted*

Actually... If I thought there was a chance of a repeat of the other night... I wouldn't say no to that. You can use you hands and lips however you like.

[he watched her as she considered it, wondering what she'd say...he knew it must be hard for her. It made him want to throw caution to the wind a little, but he was quite sure he'd end up regretting it later and that wasn't what he wanted. He wanted everything he did to her to be intentional- deliberate and fully embraced by every part of himself. Only then was he being honest and giving her the best, he thought. When she gave her answer, he grinned a bit]

Heh, alright. Good to know.

[he was perhaps feeling some desire to be closer to her right now, that was evident as his free hand crossed over his body to rest on her leg nearest to him, just above the knee. He rubbed his thumb along the skin lightly, giving a slight smile at how smooth and soft it was.] you have really nice skin, you know that?

*The touch on her knee seemed to draw her out of her confused thoughtfulness, and she smiled, enjoying how it felt, and she chuckled at the compliment*

*Faye rested herself closer against him, turning her body towards him ever so slightly, as she watched his thumb move across her skin. He was quite welcome to touch her skin wherever he liked, but she kept that thought to herself*

[he thought this was quite nice but still wanted to be closer to her somehow, hmm. He wondered if she'd mind of he repositioned her so that he could really surround her? He decided to try, sure enough that she'd let him know if she didn't approve. He moved the hand on her knee, slipping it under her knees and keeping the other arm around her shoulders as he lifted her a tiny bit and pulled her over into his lap. It hurt his shoulder and back a little, but not too much to ignore. Ah, that was better. Now he could comfortably wrap both arms and his tail around her in a cuddly shark embrace]

*Faye gave a laugh that was closer to a giggle when he picked her up to put her on his lap. She moved a hand comfortably around his waist, and lifted another to rest on his neck. Faye leaned her head on his shoulder and looked up at him, highly amused*

Who knew that sharks could be so cute and cuddly?

*Then her hand slipped from his neck and down his back, her fingers reaching for his hair*

[he laughed a little bit] I didn't know either. Guess this is what happens when I find someone I really want to cuddle who'll let me.

[he'd never even gotten this cuddly with Zace...not for a lack of wanting to, but her rather aloof personality and his own inexperience had caused contact between them to be somewhat limited. He was quite enjoying being able to express himself with more than words]

[it wouldn't be hard to find his hair, there was quite a lot of it back there. Despite him only brushing it maybe once a day, it was pretty smooth and untangled. He must have inherited some nice hair from his mother]

*Faye thought about that, still finding it strange that he'd never been particularly close to anyone before, not even when he'd had a girlfriend that he'd love. That was weird. Her fingers stroked his hair a few moments, enjoying how it felt. She'd just stay there for a while, playing with his hair*

Hmm. You've got much nicer hair than I have.

*The hand around his waist moved back round to rest on his hips, her palm then following the line of his muscles towards his stomach*

Naw...you really think so? [her hair always looked much better than his, and she clearly have it more attention than he gave his. But, it was a nice compliment] thanks...

[he blushed a little at the feel of her hand exploring his stomach. It almost tickled, but he liked it, leaning back a little to make it easier for her]

Mmhmm... I do think so.

*Faye smirked at his blush, at the way he leaned back. It was like a small victory to her to have him seemingly enjoy this kind of close contact. So she made the most of it while she could, her fingers lightly brushing his skin, palm spreading across his stomach, tracing the outlined of his muscules and up towards his chest, then slowly gliding back down again, her hand just pausing to rest at his hips. She bit her lip, having been looking at his body all this time, and glanced up for a moment back up at his face*

[although she might not notice it while her focus was on his stomach, the claws on his feet flexed while her hand was rubbing up his stomach and relaxed as her hand moved back down. When she looked up at his face, he was still blushing, his eyes half closed as he looked down at her.]

[He'd been punched, kicked, cut or stabbed in the stomach plenty of times but never rubbed like that...He certainly wasn't used to the sensations this was causing, somehow managing to relax and excite him at the same time. He kind of wanted to feel her stomach too, but with her curled up in his lap that'd be kind of hard so he just moved a hand to her lower back, scratching it lightly and exhaling a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding]

*From the looks of things, Thash was rather enjoying himself. For some reason, though, seeing his blush made her blush. That only encouraged her to continue allowing her hand to explore his stomach, fingers making small soft strokes. She inhaled happily at the scratching of her back, which caused her to arch gently. At his sigh, though, she looked up at him again, her expression teasing*

That was some sigh. Everything okay?

Yeah...everything's just fine. [he leaned his head back on the bed a little, a tranquil smile on his lips. The hand at her back kept scratching and the other draped over her legs just abkve the knee, thumb brushing against the skin lightly as he enjoyed her teasingly light touch at his abs]

*When she saw the smile on his face, how relaxed he seemed, she felt she had no real need to be worried. Faye shifted slightly on his lap so that his hand could reach slightly higher up her back and she hummed softly at the feeling of his skin against hers. She moved the hand that had been playing with his hair to rest at his collarbone, while the hand at his stomach strayed to the lines of his hips, but then she was good and she stopped, fingers moving no further than his waistband*

Mmm...[his toe claws flexed again when he felt her hand at his hip, stopping at his pants...and he briefly thought of putting a hand on hers and bringing it lower, but decided that'd be a little too tempting. Instead his hand at her back slid up to scratch higher after she shifted, his tail curling around her hips and legs a little tighter. His other hand was currently resting lightly on the outside of her left knee, but he now slid it back a few inches to the inside of her leg just above the right knee, his fingertips brushing against the skin there]

*This time Faye noticed the movement of his feet, and she just felt so pleased to know that she was doing everything right. At least so far. She licked her lips a little as she traced the lines of his hip again. Faye made a small, happy noise as his fingers moved to her inner leg, and pressed herself against him so that she could rest her head on his shoulder, her other hand moving back around his waist. Her whole body seemed to be doing what it could to get as close to him as possible. She held herself to him closer still, so that her lips could reach his neck*

[he just helped her her closer, his hands and tail supporting her as she got as close as she liked. When he felt her face near his neck he headed his head back a little again, still seeming quite happy. His hand on her leg rubbed at it a little more firmly, keeping it close to his body]

*Faye's hand lingered over his belt buckle for a moment before she moved it and began slowly snaking it over his stomach again, since he had seemed to like that. She breathed a relaxed sigh against his neck as he continued to rub her leg, then she placed small, gentle kisses along his collarbone*

[he seemed to really enjoy the feeling of his stomach being rubbed and his collarbone kissed at the same time, like it so much his tail slipped off of her and started moving back and forth along the floor almost like it was wagging slowly. After a while it excited him enough where he wanted to change positions a little, moving his right leg out from under hers and putting his arms around her to hug her close to his chest. He was careful not to intentionally move her face away from his chest though, apparently really liking that kissing]

*She grinned against his skin when his tail moved, and her lips momentarily moved away as he shifted her to get more comfortable. When she was settled again, Faye kissed him again once, then twice more. Finally, daring herself, she touched the bottom of his neck with the tip of her tongue, dragging it up to beneath his ear, where she kissed him lightly*

[he seemed relaxed enough when she kissed him again, but when she basically licked all the way up his neck it sent a shiver down his spine and he gave a small shudder, a quiet moan escaping his throat just before he hugged her tightly against himself. Unable to keep his lips off her any longer, he leaned down and started kissing her around the area just under her ear firmly]
