[Katarina has been walking through the bazaar herself, looking at stuff. There wasn't anything that caught her eye at the moment- silk dresses, fancy underwear, jewelry, hair pins, nice shoes- that is not Katarina's alley. And when she's forced to wear such stuff, she wears black dresses, no shinies.
