Who: Spades & anyone who hops over
Where: The quickly ruining ashes of what once was a naval base + at sea with the Spades, Luffy, and anyone coming back with Logan and Rogue // AKA: THE SUN, THE MOON, AND THE STARS!
What: Coldly angry Marco lets all the navy men go free and makes sure they have enough supplies to sail with, but makes it clear he's burning the base down into the shape of a spade "to send a message"
Warnings: UH VIOLENCE? JUSTICE LECTURES? At least he's not feeling too bloody and murderous, but maybe that's worse, oops.

See also this post and remember that Marco's usual reasons for holding in check (ie: Thatch, Nico Robin, Namur, Roxas) are gone or, in Marco's opinion more reasons to cut loose. Feel free to smack him upside the head, he won't retaliate.

The team's called the X-Men. X for our professor -- Xavier. He calls the shots; we're his team.

[She grins, laughing a little. Because just thinking about them all makes her smile. Enough to turn around, actually, and push herself up onto the rail.]

I've got powers, but... they ain't too awesome.

That's pretty tough, na. [If it's not awesome it probably mean bad things happen if she does that. Or stuff she doesn't like about it.

All the meat cleaned off, he chucks the bone over his shoulder into the sea and grips his ankles]

You must be a pretty great hero then.

[it would be too hard for him to be away from touch. He would wanna be as close to people as he could]

But you've got great friends, na? [he wiggles his toes] Logan and a whole team and now Ace and them. Marco's pretty great, too! He can turn into a bird and fly so you should definitely ask him for a ride. Just don't fall off.

My friends are pretty awesome, yeah. [Not that she'd ever say that to them. It's easier to be fond of them when she doesn't have to deal with them. The little, petty arguments.]

An' everyone here's been pretty good t' me.

'M glad Logan's here, an' I think I'm pretty lucky t' have met Marco.

[it was too bad that he lost so much... Luffy doesn't want to think about it because it makes him sad even if it was a while ago now, so he scrunches his toes against his sandals]

So what kind of fun place do you want to go to?

Heard there was a place near Empieza with pyramids. Somethin' 'bout gravity not workin' right an' such.

[And it sounds like a good place to look for signs of Apocalypse. Just in case.]

But first we got work t' do here. I'll worry 'bout that when the others are safe.

[he hasn't heard of that place. It sounds interesting though he's not really sure what gravity not working right means. Still he nods when she continues]

[The idea of the whole thing had been infuriating. Too much, too fast.]

[Not a term she knows, and it catches her ear.]

[nod] It means crew and friends and family. [he didn't know how it was for super hero teams but...] For pirates it's really important.

Yosh! We gotta find some stuff to do it with first but I dunno where they keep anything. Hmmmmm.
